Who do you actually like? The only units that really stick out with that roster are Durin who just ran last month, or maybe some combo of Ineffa/Flins/Columbina with Sucrose and Fischl (if you don't get all 3). But there's plenty of room to start new teams with all the pulls in the game, if you really like X person in particular.

c6 Childe is pretty bad, most of his cons don't do anything really game changing.

c1 Varesa is already a bigger upgrade.

Yes, C2 is pretty good, somewhere between 15-20% more damage iirc. Also just more fun spamming bursts. But since you already got it, does it really matter how good it is?

1) PS4 support is being discontinued, from April you won't be able to log into Genshin anymore with a PS4. Hence some of the new stuff not being supported at all

2) Imaginarium Theatre is a new monthly endgame mode, sort of a rogue-like mode where you have to collect characters and buffs as you progress through several stages. Wolfy is the NPC that manages the mode.

3) Miliastra Wonderland is the new User-Generated Content mode for Genshin. Imagine Roblox or Fortnite Creative, but with Genshin stuff. Has basically nothing to do with the actual game, but allows users to create and share minigames.

4) Nod Krai essentially does have a Statue of the Seven, just instead of being one of the Seven Archons, it's a statue of the Moon Goddess. Nod Krai is sort of a whole new area added to the story, so it's like an '8th nation' essentially, so the statues are mostly just a gameplay consistency thing.

5) Sumeru, Fontaine, and Natlan each would take like 25-30 hours of main quests to get through, plus already like 20 hours of Nod Krai so far. So yeah... a lot to get through. Plus all the side content, some of which is pretty relevant. You CAN quick-start to jump straight to Nod Krai's quest, but imo you'll be missing out on a lot of the call-backs and pay-offs that they've got, since Nod Krai was added to sort of clarify and wrap up a lot of loose threads from previous nations.

Raiden in that team could use Night of the sky, yes

Basically, if you start combat with a normal burst, you get a big hit that's 2/3rds of a mini-burst added to your first plunge, but it's still generally a DPS loss to do so because of the long animation and the ER requirement (plus it's basically impossible in Stygian). So you often just ignore the first half of the passive.

And the second half of the C4 is +100% MV to your mini-burst, from 855% at Lvl 13 to 955%.

TLDR; start combat with full burst if you want (and have the ER to still mini-burst afterwards), otherwise just more damage on mini bursts.

More characters > cons. And Varesa's C1 alone isn't that big, unless you really like using her to run around in the overworld. Or, just save for other units. Xilonen or C1 Varesa isn't going to improve your 'anti-Natlan shill' ability anyway.

In that team, I would do the rotation of:
Arlecchino Skill -> Xingqiu Skill + Burst (+ Skill if on Sac Sword) -> Bennett Skill + Burst -> Sucrose Skill + Attack + Burst -> Arlecchino Charged Attack + many Attacks

And the thrilling tales of dragons slayers book is only available from wishing. I recommend getting one or two to r5 and keeping them locked.

Sucrose's goals in this team are:

* Use Skill or Burst for team EM buff on her passive.
* Swirl Pyro to activate Viridescent Venerer artifact set resist shred (and further EM share passive)
* Give TTDS buff to Arlecchino by swapping to her (which is fine because VV set buff is also very short)

So, in order to do all of those;

* You'd start with Arle skill to set up her mark >
* Xingqiu Burst and Skill to set up his Hydro application, and get a Vape on his skill for a bit of damage >
* Bennett Burst and Skill to set up his burst, as well as put a Pyro aura on the enemy after Xingqiu's Vape removed it >
* Sucrose E to Swirl Pyro, then N1 to Swirl away the rest of the Pyro and trigger Xingqiu's Rainsword to apply Hydro to the enemy. Burst is optional in this team, it won't completely screw you over unlike in a Melt team, but it's also a fairly minor buff if you don't have the energy for it >
* Arlecchino Charged attack to absorb her mark (which should be fully charged by now) and then normal attack the enemy to trigger Vaporises and keep applying Hydro with Xingqiu's Rainswords. A 3-hit or 5-hit combo followed by a dash to reset the combo is your best bet for Arlecchino.
* Once her skill is off cooldown (and you're nearly out of Bond of Life to fuel her damage), you start again.

It's not a bad idea to stock up on them if you have the resources to spare. You don't have to use them right away, you can save them for if/when you actually get serious about building characters.

It's just another talent, so yes, they get the unit with the hex buff.

Ehhh, honestly none of them seem great options. Dehya, Dori, Jahoda, Collei are all usable for off-field application (and Layla but not this month), any of the Anemo units can be usable with just VV equipped (and TTDS for the catalysts, even unlevelled). TTDS Tankfei is also an option, or just use the trial version as an early DPS. Noelle and Jahoda also being decent healers can come in handy, but Noelle isn't an option this month. And Razor at C6 can be a decent DPS, if you do the Hexerei quest for him and put him in the right team.

Either one of them? Probably not. But if you can get enough pulls to get both? Absolutely, looking to be one of the top DPS teams with just those 2 plus Illuga who you should get along the way.

Otherwise, Ineffa is probably a safer general pickup, especially if you turn out not to be a fan of Zibai's gameplay when we see it tomorrow. Even on her own, though ideally also with Columbina.

Zibai without Columbina is kind of cooked. You *can* play her without Columbina, of course, but Zibai isn't a pick-up I'd recommend of a newer account unless they really like her and plan to pick up Columbina as well.

Columbina alone is fine if you plan to pick-up any other Nod Krai units in the future. She won't be that strong at the start, but will still be fine for clearing things as you work toward your next Nod Krai unit.

Not sure if you're interested in Varessa, but since you're asking about new accounts specifically, I gotta give her a shout out. Varessa is a great stand-alone unit and her banner has some of her best teammates in Chevy and Iansan. She's not a top tier DPS like Mavuika or Skirk, but she's no slouch either, probably making it to top 5 in most content. Purely from a gameplay perspective, if I were starting an account now I'd try for Varessa, then worry about Columbina in a future rerun banner.

Strong Omen buff with good uptime, Hydro application that lines up right for a nice VV setup without interfering with Mualani's vapes, and a bit of extra energy to let Mualani burst a bit more often.

Hydro resonance, Proto Amber healing that's decent on Mualani, Omen buff for huge DMG% that basically has full uptime for Mualani's short field time, C1 reaction buff and C2 EM buff, C4 Crit Rate buff IF you aren't already overcapped, which is unlikely for Mualani, but if you aren't then it's huge. And yeah, the ease of setting up VV with a second Hydro unit, especially on Widsith Mualani who can't swap in flexibly because of Widsith triggers.

No, Capturing radiance counts as winning a 50/50. You're back to 50/50 after a CR pull.

Capturing Radiance is not restricted to happening on lost 50/50s. That's a common misconception. If you look at the in-game details, you'll see that Capturing Radiance is guaranteed to trigger on your next 50/50 after 3 consecutive losses, regardless of whether you would have lost that 50/50 without it.

You're only on guarantee after you pull an off-banner 5-star. If you get Capturing Radiance, you get the banner 5-star, so you're not on guarantee afterward.

Capturing Radiance is like tipping the dice in your favor to make sure that roll is a win. So it’s counted as a win whether it “would have been a loss” or not. The important part is that you got the featured character. Hoyo isn’t going to not reset your guarantee after that.

You can’t really generate them faster than the time limit. They are generated a bit by you during your setup as your supports rotate or by you being on field. You can’t try to change the rotation so that you have more uptime on freeze, or you can change your rotation to consume when you do eventually generate three.

If you have the resources to spare, definitely worth!

Kuki is the best of those, since she can heal + help any dendro comps (and even some cope electro-charge comps).

Keqing won't have a good time in later chambers, but I really like her for earlier chambers since she can serve as a solid unit on those so you don't have to waste your better characters.

Collei, Barbara, Aino, Ororon, and Thoma are all reasonably useful at low investment and can fill slots in teams easily. Pick whichever element you think you'll need the most of.

The rest are a bit more cope, but can be fine for early chambers just to fill slots. I'd prioritize others unless you really like one of them or want to deal with very specific mechanics (like Amber's pyro app being good for some things).

I'd go with Kuki, Ororon, and either Collei or Aino, depending on whether you play any lunar teams. If you pick Collei, you can run her with Kuki for a hyperbloom team.

The energy could be nice for the first rotation/her teammates getting their element buff, but not generally worth over other options (Varesa cons or weapon)

I'm not sure where you live or how much budget you have in mind, but where i live Poco (Xiaomi) offers decent gaming phones and it's pretty cheap. I'm using a Poco X7 pro and although it lacks in other departments, can't complain about the gaming aspect.

I think that if you try to swap to a downed character it will give the food prompt, regardless of whether you can actually use food.

and try for Ineffa with the rest you gather
the alternative Fischl and Sucrose should be quite strong but sustainless

Based on [this](https://youtu.be/Bbn6e2--Q1U?si=tPHRRL4G78DtwOHM&t=506) and some math. c0 to c1 Flins is around a 20% increase. Assuming that is the case, changing the numbers from the link would be 126k and 131k. Which is "closer" to equal, but still a bit towards Ineffa. Additionally you get the shield which could be worth it for you.

What Joe mentioned might be worth it though in fishing for Columbina and then hoping you can get Ineffa with what you have left over.

You wouldn't really gain anything by playing with them if they are not using anything. If they were cheating while playing with you, then I could see it more (especially if what they are using alters your amount of damage, which I ran into before). You don't stand to benefit from interacting with it, so there isn't a reason to punish you.

maybe think about Ineffa a bit longer, she's a decent dps and is a good support, I play her as a DPS with Aino Fischl Sucrose, she does pretty well.

It might be worth showing your full cast (taking a screen shot and then uploading it to youtube) and listing the characters that do interest you. Also, what do you want to do with your account (clear the overworld/story easily/do abyss or harder content/compete in the hardest content available).

Iansan has a lower cost Burst than Pyro Traveller, it's easier to meet her ER requirements especially with her C1 dropping it even further.

Chevy can get by without any ER on SODP since her healing and buffs won't require her Burst.

Tenacity of the millileth might be a decent option for pyro traveler.

Check if you have the quest "Lost in Sands" because you might have already accepted the quest. Katheryne gives the quest too. He's then in the pit.

Zhongli with Deepwood would be a really solid option, yeah

zhongli is good but furina is better for emilie and team damage. 

The earlier already answered your question about Zhongli. But regarding scroll set, it requires the wielder to trigger related reaction(s) to provide the buff. However, applying more pyro or dendro on an already-burning enemy does not count as "trigger reaction". So if the scroll wielder is pyro or dendro, he/she will not be able to provide buff from the second rotation against the same high HP target. Iansan is probably the best scroll holder for burning team.

You could consider Iansan. She should be able to trigger Scroll on dendro with her three app combo E CA Q. You'd at least get her attack buff maxed at the start, and if you really only care about Emilie's skill damage you can just run around in Bennett circle to maintain NS on Iansan since Emilie doesn't need to attack.

The reaction works, yes. It's just not as viable as a Chevreuse team which requires only Pyro and Electro characters. 

It will 'work' in the sense that the reaction will trigger, but it won't be a good team. Overloaded damage does scale with EM, but not hard enough to be the main sort of damage in a team. Any Overloaded teams that *do* function do so solely by the grace of Chevreuse's buffs, which *do not actually buff Overloaded itself to a usable level*, but instead just give buffs to direct damage when you trigger one.

And if you add an Anemo character... Chevreuse doesn't work. So it's a double bad idea.

Splendor buffs HP and Skill damage, Durin does ATK-scaling Burst damage. And cuz it's a HP scalers weapon, it's got low base ATK for a 5\*.

"sub" DPS that work off field are the differentiator. Hypercarry is more a special type of on field DPS where it's 1 on field DPS+3 supports. For example Mavuika+Iansan+Xilonen+Citlali. The whole team is designed to buff *1* unit. Whereas other teams may be 1 on field with 1-2 sub DPS and 1-2 supports like Hu Tao+Furina+Yelan+Xilonen where Furina and Yelan each deal almost as much damage as Hu Tao. Can even have a team of all sub DPS like Sukokokimon (Sucrose+Kokomi+Fischl+Xiangling). Or quick swap teams like Mavuika+Varessa.

Hypercarry DPS usually denotes LOTS of on field time and rest of team is supports with little to no sub DPS.

Classic example would be Raiden Hypercarry (Raiden+Bennett+Sara+Kazuha, 1 on field DPS+3 supports) vs Raiden National (Raiden+XQ+XL+Kazuha, 1 on field DPS, 2 sub DPS, 1 support)

It's not like there's a strict definition, but the terminology is used to differentiate when a single character is contributing almost all of the team damage, versus teams where the other characters still have some notable personal damage.

Here's the DPS breakdown of certain Hu Tao, Skirk, and Mavuika teams as an example: https://i.imgur.com/hg8YBtX.png

In these teams, Hu Tao is clearly not a hypercarry, she is only barely doing more damage than Yelan. Skirk is doing notably more than half of the team damage, but Furina and Escoffier's damage stats are still mattering a little bit. And in Mavuika's team, only Citlali is just barely managing to appear; Mavuika is clearly a hypercarry in this team.

In addition to what the others have said, some people use 'Hypercarry' as a team archetype name, referring to a team that focuses on buffs over reactions. For example, the old Raiden Hyper team uses Kujou Sara for ATK and Electro DMG buffs, Bennett for ATK buffs, Kazuha for DMG buffs and VV shred. You wouldn't call this an 'Overload' team or a 'Mono Electro' team, the only focus of this team is stacking buffs for Raiden to deal damage, any elemental auras or reactions that happen are irrelevant (except of course triggering VV with a Swirl). Hence, the team archetype is a 'Hypercarry' team, focusing on buffs over reactions.

Compare that to a Mualani team, which uses Mona, Sucrose and Pyro Traveler all to buff Mualani and not focus on their own damage, so this would make Mualani a 'Hypercarry' by the other definition used. But the team archetype is still called a 'Vaporise' team, because the majority of your damage is done via the Vaporise reaction, and having the Pyro aura to consistently Vaporise is a big deal.

Gaming is definitely much 'better' as a DPS than either Ning or Yanfei. But I guess if you don't have a single 5\* DPS then you might not feel like they're that much worse than your other options. And there's always a chance they buff them like they did for Mondstadt. So just pick whichever you like the look of the most.

Not sure how good Gorou is for Ning, since most of his power at C0 is in DEF buffs, which Ning doesn't use. And I doubt you have C6 Gorou if you don't use the gacha, where he gets a lot more Geo damage buffs. But again, probably still a good option out of the ones you have.

It's a fine statstick tbh. Medium base ATK and CDMG stat, 24% ATK buff for 20s after skill or burst. If you don't have many 5\* weapons or good 4\* R5 weapons, just keep it on someone.

It can technically be used on Zhongli, but it's also just a pretty good stat stick for any ATK/Crit scaler. I'd keep 2 separate copies

Damn, I just looked over their weapon, shit's stacked. Like I would usually say to skip weapons, but these are damned tempting.

You certainly never NEED a 5\* weapon to make a team good, and if calcs are to be believed, that team will be tied for best DPS in the game at C0R0, well above what DPS is 'required'. So saving pulls to improve your other teams sounds like a more reasonable option.

But, if you do have pulls and you really just want a good Flins team, it's probably as good a weapon banner as you could hope for. Columbina sig is apparently +35% personal damage, and Ineffa's sig was originally calced as 25% better than Deathmatch, but in a team like this it's probably even better because it buffs LC damage for the whole team. So yeah, if you got both, I could see it as maybe a 30-40% team DPS increase.

For what I heard, in pure damage increase purpose, Columbina's C2 > Ineffa's C1 > Flins's C2 > Ineffa's weapon > Columbina's C6 > Flins's C6 > Flins's weapon > Columbina's weapon

Their weapons have lower priority and behind their own constellations.

If you lose to a standard, reset fate point. Then if you lose 50:50 and get the one you didn't pick, you've saved yourself one full pity. (Potentially)

Depends, do you like the current character? Do you want one of the upcoming characters?

I wouldn't recommend spending willy-nilly before you've got an understanding of the game and what you enjoy playing, but if you're worried about pulling a character now and them being powercrept later, that's pretty much always going to happen eventually.

Technically the optimal thing to do would be wait for the game to announce EOS (end of service), then you'll know exactly who the best DPS units in the game are and always will be, pull them C6 with your arduous years of savings, and then the game will EOS and you won't be able to play them anyway. But much more enjoyable to live in the moment, pull a character you like and is strong now, and if you get bored of them, get someone new later.

Also, going for a character is generally pretty safe, because 'pity' carries over between banners. So you don't lose 'progress' towards getting a 5\* character if you don't get them in time. That's not the case for the weapon or Chronicled Wish banners though, so don't pull on them unless you have 150+ pulls saved up and can guarantee you get what you want before the banner ends.

It's not essential, but it's a big hit of damage and \~120 EM buff to the team. Still, many rotations choose to burst every other rotation and build more ATK stats instead.

Most likely Ineffa, though if you have other Lunar characters (or get Zibai) then Bina is also pretty good.

Ineffa for the shield. They're both super powerful subdps that buff him immensely, but Columbina has no sustain outside of prototype amber.

2 separate systems:


- If you get a standard weapon, your next one is **Guaranteed** to be a limited weapon A or B. This carries over between banners.


- If you pick weapon A, and you get a 5* weapon that isn't weapon A, you get a **Fate Point** that guarantees the next 5* you get is weapon A. The Fate Point disappears after the banner ends.


- So, if you get a standard, then don't get weapon A, the Guarantee stays and Fate Point doesn't. So next banner, you have a 50:50 between weapons C and D, but if you just want C, you may still lose to D and have to spend another 80 pulls for C. So losing a fate point can still be like losing 80 pity worth of value.

With Columbina's release soon, Flins and Nefer premiums will shoot up a lot. Think I heard somewhere that Flins will now have one of the best teams overall even.

Columbina/Ineffa is probably gonna be the most meta wheelchair comp in a couple weeks

Columbina can be used onfield with Aino to make a budget lunar bloom team with your dendro units. Ineffa is a highly recommended teammate for Columbina if you're able to pull her too, the BinaNeffa core is extremely strong and versatile in a wide variety of team comps. Otherwise just save for another lunar unit later.

If ypu plan to get another Lunar 5* at some point, picking up Columbina should be fine. But without any others, she's not that special, and worse than just picking up Ineffa or Lauma on their own. Also, as an 'Archon' level character, she's going to be way more reliable rerun-wise, so if you can only afford one pull next patch, Ineffa now would be more valuable than solo Columbina now. Of course, if you will get Zibai, or maybe Flins/Launa reruns soon after in 6.4, then maybe you're fine for a month with the 'budget' Bina teams with Aino.

Ineffa is very versatile and usable in a ton of team comps, however Columbina is going to power up your Nefer team by a lot. Imo go with her.

For next patch, it'll be on discount for 1350 genesis crystals. After that, it'll go back to the 'normal' price of 1680. 

Supposedly at Count = 2 it's higher than the base 0.2% or whatever it is and closer to maybe 10%, but not guaranteed until you lose another 50:50. Nobody actually knows the % numbers though.
