"Moon Maiden" foreshadowing in Sumeru AQ

Hey, new player here. I'd assume this was most likely mentioned in the community before, but I was just going through the Sumeru Archon Quests (Ch:3, Arc:2, The Coming of the Sabzerus Festival), and figured that this *might* have been a potential foreshadowing for the Nod-Krai lore. Just a neat detail, especially considering this quest was released more than 3 years ago, if I'm not wrong.

Well from the teaser of Nod Krai as a whole iirc Columbina herself says to not trust the moon or its reflection or whatever. It's been a common theme. Even before that, the fake sky was first mentionned in 1.X iirc, the moon is just the biggest embodiment of that lie since we've also been told from very early on that the moon(s) were important to Teyvat.

That line refers to the moon tarot card, which means exactly what Kimiya said it means. Maybe they had started already planning for Nod-Krai by then but it's unlikely they were trying to reference anything other than the card.

Nahida refers to herself as "the moon" in contrast to Rukkhadevata's sun because she feels she's a pale imitation. Similarly we got that divination dialogue while we were in the middle of what was effectively a big illusion.

I doubt Hoyo intended in that dialogue to foreshadow Nod-Krai. Especially since the actual divinatory meaning (at least in tarot cards) is similar when it comes to the Moon card and there was a more direct purpose for referencing it at the time than Nod-Krai and Columbina.

Besides, the three moon sisters have been known about since about the beginning of the game so if there *was* going to be any connection drawn, it probably would have been them (which I believe many lore theorists tried to do).

Devs always liked to hide things in plain sight. If you look closely at the Genshin Impact logo, you can see that it says "Genshin Impact", referring to a game with the same name.

This is foreshadowing of the Sumeru AQ with the Groundhog Day segment. This is largely in reference to the Moon Arcana in the Tarot deck.

It's a common theme associated with the moon iirc. Every time it's either fake moon, a reflection of the moon, the three moon sisters deception. >!Barbeloth described this too when she did the tarot reading for columbina in this patch. !<
