It was a weird IT

I had to get very inventive, with real bad luck on early pulls, and with weird combos left available near the end. I really need to get Ineffa, she would make this easier. The Durin is a C6 I borrowed, he really helped power through some of these fights in the middle. I still don't understand how Act 9's team did it. I put in Chevreuse for her C6 (which works without overload) and to battery Xiangling. But what matters is I got 12/12.

You don't want your borrowed character to clear early stages. Just borrow a C6 on-field DPS that works as standalone so that you can just put 3 fodder units next to them on the latest stages and use your better units on the previous bosses.

My Arle is C6R1, my Mavuika is C2R1 and my Neuvillette (only C1, but he has godly artifacts) can clear stages almost by themselves. I didn’t really have any C6 on-fielder I could borrow that I didn’t already have. I tend to keep my best characters for lunar stages or bosses. Using a C6 borrowed to clear middle stages works fine for me, giving me time to draw my good characters I wasn’t getting early on. Also, a really good off-fielder allowed me to have fun with Xianyun and Ayato.

Sure but with those units it is curious to why you had to get "inventive" or why you are considering getting a new unit just to make things easier.

Because I didn’t have them early on, had to burn some of my better supports early, and had to compose weird teams. I like this about IT, and didn’t expect it this time. This element combo is especially good for me with the characters I have and expected a walk in the park with easy teams. Not really what happened, I was surprised.

That's still 6 slots. with major ones usually being bosses and 1 lunar challenge. a Friend would make it 8. You don't even need supports. Not to mention many of the stages can be dealt with by fodder.

Weird, I had the opposite experience where this IT was super easy for me (also 12/12). The last one kicked my butt tho and I only got 11/12 stella.

I keep forgetting you can borrow a character from friends. I struggled in this IT a bit but Mualani really saved the day.
