Currently her best teams are Chevreuse overload variants, but if you don't have access to Chevreuse you can run Vaporize. In that case her best artifact set is Crimson Witch. Don't run the artifact domain though, just convert your trash artifacts to Crimson Witch using the alchemy table.
Also, don't farm artifacts before you hit AR45.

Yanfei is pretty versatile for new players. You basically want crit and em, and her strength is in her charged attacks. She pairs best with Bennett, and as long as you have another element for her to react with she’ll do great damage. xingqiu/Bennett/support is a standard team, I really like playing her with kazuha/nahida/kokomi for burgeon
