typical redditard deflecting and just parroting "sO YOU dO it" I would've given her actual meaningful flaws. you really think the whole natlan archon quest felt satisfying when every time shit popped off with the abyss and you'd go to see her and she would always give the dutch treatment from RDR2 and say "i have plan" only for a man to step in and do the work for her in the end. wow so much depth. venti and zhongli get a pass imo because theyre among the original 7 and i think the devs were still trying to settle where they wanted things to go because genshin was still new. but Ei had her flaws, Nahida had insecurity, Furina was struggling the whole time. that's why I believe she's among the most beloved characters. mavuika just has nothing except a cool design and a meta kit. the entirety of natlan just felt like a steven universe episode where friendship wins in the end. and mavuika was part of why it felt like that

ok but thats boring to watch. furina also had a 500 year long commitment as well, but the gravity of hers just feels more real than mavuika because mavuika is a one note badly written character. if they wanted to make her capable, they shouldve given something else with that. they made such a big deal about mavuika being a mortal like everyone else, who also happens to be an archon to give this down to earth familial notion with the people of natlan, but shes not relatable at all because shes literally so perfect. shes more god-like than any archon

By their logic, we should put every character other than the travelers into the "does not need to be playable" category. After all, why have other playable characters, when the travelers are canonically the only ones doing the traveling?

Putting aside whether it's "good" or not, what metric was used to create this?
It isn't DPS, because Nefer is in the red, and Chongyun is in the green.
It isn't how complex they are to play, because Neuvillette is in the green despite being the ultimate simple repetetive gameplay, and Mavuika is singled put despite her new complex combos.
It isn't freedom of teambuilding, because Flins and Skirk are in the green, despite requiring dedicated supports.
Why is Nilou in the red while Flins/Ineffa/>!Columbina!</>!Zibai!< are in the green, despite them all being based on unique reactions?
Why are some generally accepted to be bad kits in the green (ex. Dehya) while others generally accepted to be good (ex. Ganyu, Xilonen, Varesa) are in the red?
Why are some dedicated supports in the green (Xianyun, Faruzan, Ineffa, Lauma) while others (Escoffier, Sara, Gorou,>!Illuga!<) are in the red?

Ok I think they’re coming from a world lore/world building pov - which I don’t get with Mavuika because she’s an archon but also her writing is horrid so I get it.
But how can bro put Lisa, Chongyun, Kaveh, Jean, Wriosthesley, Lynette, Dori, ECT into playable but not Ningguan, Ganyu, Sara, Xingqui, ECT into playable????
But their ‘logic’ if Jean and Lisa are in, Ningguan and Ganyu should be in. Jean and Ningguan because they’re both ‘rulers’ of their nations and have contributed heavily to the lore and world around them. Like nah that chic who owns that massive floating mansion in the sky that helped defend the nation and contributed to the nations peace for years shouldn’t be playable.
And Ganyu should be more in than Lisa by their logic 😭🙏 Although Lisa does slightly contribute to Mondstats relationship with the hexencircle and Sumeru that doesn’t make her character necessarily - easily replaceable with an npc unless I’m missing her lore.
But Ganyu symbolises the partnership of the adeptus and people - she almost represents them in the ‘high council of liyue’. She also quietly anchors the nations history, culture, and themes over thousands of years - isn’t she one of our first introductions to how adeptus have evolved into the human world? Is she not a key bridge??
And this is someone who finds Lisa’s lore more interesting than Ganyus!!

Dear god way too much stupid to unpack on that, the biggest for me is all the niche units in the shouldn't exist section. Geo wouldn't have functioned without Gorou then Xilo, freeze doesn't function without Escoffier, Sucrose is better than Kazuha, XQ is the OG subdps, burning blows cock without Emilie, and Chasca is the most fun you can have in this game.
