It shouldn't be useless. They should give a debuff, like one of them gives minus crit rate and the other gives minus crit damage, unless they are used together.

This effect increases in power based on the number of times "Blade of the flowing currency" has ever been activated, up to a maximum of 5% more damage. I really doubt hoyo will do this, it's just too much for the programming side of things, the potential to break something is too big. They usually try to just make simple qol changes without any major changes to the mechanics of the UI. Even when introducing more than 4 teams, they still kept 4 default teams that you can't remove

to me his shadow looks more, like hes a character that can switch between Claymore and Sword,, because that secodn sword there definetely is no second Claymore.. it looks far more like a varka-sized 1H Sword at the side of his right hip.. but that shadow is tricky, as it could also just be part of his leg armory and be no second sword at all.

however, he looks, like hes holdign there something in his second hand,. that looks like a sword hilt with no blade .. woudl be surprise d in the end, if hes dual wieldign claymore and only one of them is actually a real materialistic Claymore out of metal, while the other one is basically a created elemental one out of razor sharp high pressure air. basically an "invisible claymore" with the concept beign taken from Fate/Stay Night, where Saber has also her blade cloaked in air, to make it invisible to protect herself from her Noble Phatasm (Historic Weapon) to get to easily recognized as being the Excalibur, as no one should be able tu survive the Noble Phantasm to be able to tell about it. This kind of concept could be used here maybe for Varka for the second Claymore, Id find it at least cool, if it become true, because the design of Jean has been always lowky of being basically Genshin's Saber literally since day one \^\^. So if Varka woudl get as the real Grandmaster also some kind of Fate-Inspiration, I'd find that nice and fitting for him

Cmiiw, there's a spike under his left forearm, which i assume is not part of the claymore on his left hand since the position is too abrupt. So i assume it's part of the weapon on his right hand. That weapon has 2 pointy ends. One near the left forearm and one behind the middle of the claymore shadow perpendicular to the one near the forearm. So, if the left forearm shadow is part of the weapon, then it might be a big one-handed axe/hammer.
