They really said you'll see her back and you'll like it
Tho it's not like I haven't seen thousands of fanart practically worshipping her back already
YellowAppleCinema2026-01-02 13:12
Her previous outfit was already pretty sophisticated too, I hoped this new skin would give us more of an Aether treatment and that we would get to see Lumine's bellybutton, considering Aether showed his for 5 years already
Ze_AwEsOmE_Hobo2026-01-02 14:49
The only answer is that they can't show Lumine's bellybutton because she wasn't born. She's a test-tube clone of Aether /s
solidfang2026-01-02 18:34
I was a little skeptical of the new design at first, but wow, from the back, I can see a lot more of the improvements they made like the bow and braids in her hair. And also just saying, it doesn't look that brown from this angle. The back accents are a much lighter gold color.
Local-dumb-ass2026-01-02 07:37
She's so pretty,,,, regret so much picking aether, I though he was a she and a tomboy so I picked him
I hope we get the choice to switch MCs one day like wuwa

prefer the older look. blue just suits her better + they both give off the same vibe + i like cleavage

It's more stately. Befitting of a princess, for sure.
UsefulDependent98932026-01-02 08:35
It looks nice, but I would’ve liked if it wasn’t the same template as the default outfit. Aether got a coat and suit now that is completely different from his default.
Lumine’s new outfit feels too close as a variant of the original. Sucks they didn’t use the chance to give her an entirely new vibe to her design.
acart0052026-01-02 10:41
Hot take: OG Lumine always looked great and OG Aether looks like crap. So I'm OK with it.
guylovesleep2026-01-02 11:05
if this is your hot take then the freezing point of light would your cold take
SecondAegis2026-01-02 11:19
Light/photon particles can't freeze...
But you can make a "solid" out of them
guylovesleep2026-01-02 11:25
Isn't that literally freezing ?
SecondAegis2026-01-02 11:43
Not quite. The "solid" I'm referring to is an experiment where they made light function similarly to a super solid (a state that functions similarly to both a solid and liquid) by firing a laser beam at a gallium arsenide structure with precisely engineered microscopic ridges. This is different from freezing, where the movement of atoms slow down and crystalize
peggingwithkokomi692026-01-02 12:31
lmao, i always tell a friend Aether has the color scheme of a cockroach and she gets mad at me
Patchy_Bangaa2026-01-02 14:21
There's gonna be so many aethers in my house this summer..
GlitterDoomsday2026-01-02 16:44

Excuse me sir, you forgot your bottle of copium when you’ve left this comment section.
TheSynthian2026-01-02 13:13
For me it was the opposite. When I first started and had to choose one I thought compared to Aether’s otherworldly clothes, Lumine was basically wearing a white dress.
nanimeanswhat2026-01-02 14:43
I thought Lumine looked better too but I played with the same Lumine for 5 years now. I would've preferred if she got a different cut.
que_sarasara2026-01-02 15:35
They always follow the same silhouette with character skins, compare any of them to their original and they all follow to same basic outline.
Perhaps due to animation/clipping issues?
GlitterDoomsday2026-01-02 16:46
Imagine how cute if she got a suit and shorts like Hu Tao and Furina but with Aether's color scheme? She would match with Zhongli 🥹
Watsons-Butler2026-01-03 03:27
I’m still mad she didn’t get the custom outfit Ayaka wanted to buy for her.
Hojuma2026-01-03 07:12
I like the newer dress over the original but yeah, I really wished they'd at least give her a different silhouette like Aether.
Position_Waste2026-01-02 08:36
The braids on her hair 😍
SystematicalError2026-01-02 15:18
With a butterfly clip 😍 She's the prettiest princess fr fr 🥰🥰
Few_Masterpiece75822026-01-02 08:51
Looks better
afr8302026-01-02 09:23
Ngl all I know about the skins is that some people think it's because of censorship which, considering the amount of skin increasing I suppose not.
unless it's more modest in the front or something.
~~please don't change it Iike aether rocking midriff~~
fatalspeck2026-01-02 09:25
honestly im dissapointed, the silhouette looks the same while aethers version its very different between the base and the outfit.
Environmental-Belt492026-01-02 09:30
she's gonna catch pneumonia.
Bunnnnii2026-01-02 09:37
I really wish they changed her hair. It’s my least favorite part of her design by far.
kifune892026-01-02 10:11
I like the new Design of Lumine, it improve her quality.
ComposedOfStardust2026-01-02 10:16
I always thought she'd look good in the golden browns of Aether's outfit and I maintain it still does. The cold bluish whites of her base outfit always make her look washed out. New outfit she looks glowing and regal. Like a noblewoman instead of a child cosplaying as one.
SystematicalError2026-01-02 15:20
Yeah both twins have a warm undertone which makes them look amazing in warm colors like gold while cold colours like blue make them look like the clothes are wearing them instead
Extreme_Ad58732026-01-02 18:32
That's why I still prefer og Aether skin over his new one, color scheme looks much better in my opinion at least, bonus points for midriff.
Ccat509912026-01-02 10:22
Im just happy her hair got updated.
PoleManual22026-01-02 10:26
Hmm, more exposed backside.
BlueRose6442026-01-02 10:31
Navia will be thrilled that Best Partner got a cute new dress! They just need to go shopping together for a new hat to complete the look.
Aackland2026-01-02 20:25
a fellow Navia main and Lumine enjoyer! 🤝
juplantern2026-01-03 01:44
drip impact incoming
ReubenZedix2026-01-02 10:35
I like leaning more towards drip equipment to my builds so it's nice to have less blue and more white/gold for Lumine soon.
I do wish her style was a lil more different tho for this outfit. Like a long skirt/dress, or a crop top... or even braids since Aether ditched his in his new one.
aurorablueskies2026-01-03 07:17
She has braids in the new skin though? Unless you mean free-hanging braids like Venti's
ReubenZedix2026-01-03 07:27
oh i didn't notice that! My bad guess I should've zoomed in lol
persianglitch2026-01-02 10:55
Lumi got aether braids, this two defo gonna meet and not just a momentary sitting like before
kokko6932026-01-02 11:10
Doesn't this outfit would looks very good with geo resonance.
Like some princess adorned in gold
Dyzinel2026-01-02 11:27
No wonder Aether liked it
Drykan__Scorpus2026-01-02 11:49
Overall nicr, but i dont like this completely open back at all
Zellopy2026-01-02 11:59
People asked for a 3D model upgrade and they made a wholeass new skin.
aliskyart2026-01-02 12:24
I love the new outfit! Even though it’s a bit… Geo? 😅
artada172026-01-02 12:25
Ngl the new one looks better
berrythv2026-01-02 18:39
so much better! I wanted to switch to Aether, cause I prefer his original design, I can't even look at Lumine anymore. this new outfit is so refreshing though and I can finally use my traveler more (still wish we could get an option to switch the traveler though 😭)
Tsubasa_TheBard2026-01-02 12:33
OMG HER HAIR LOOKS SO CUTE!!!
Frostgaurdian02026-01-02 12:50
More back and less shoulder while the og is the opposite.
NemuriNezumi2026-01-02 13:44
It's cute but like, would have been nice if she had a more winter-ish outfit like aether tbh
Dude-_-_-2026-01-02 14:35

Flair862026-01-02 14:42
i wish i had lumine, itrs so pretty (and pretty back)
cassiemoon_2026-01-02 14:55
I'm so happy to be a Lumine main
ZhangRenWing2026-01-02 15:15
Her braid looks cute, wish we could have both travelers in one account
blearutone2026-01-02 15:30
Lumine pickers we won
cartercr2026-01-02 15:34
It looks like the blue in her outfit is completely gone, which is a bit unfortunate. The color palates of Lumine and Aether got switched for this outfit.
kidanokun2026-01-02 16:25
So Aether's midriff exposure goes to Lumine's back
xTeamRwbyx2026-01-02 16:58
Now let us go back and get a fucking kemono from Ayaka
OneMasterpiece29242026-01-02 17:18
finally she dont look homeless
DrTonyMario2026-01-02 17:56
She stole Aether's midriff and added it to her back.
Niklaus152026-01-02 17:58
Aether skins looks cool, lumine one looks way to similar to the original
Glittering-Ad-16262026-01-02 18:26
They’re growing up 🥹
sillily2026-01-02 18:27
I like that her sleeves and hair have more going on than the original skin, but I’m disappointed that they gave her the hoyo backless dress treatment. The laced back on her original dress looks cooler/sexier, open back is boring.
PsycoJosho2026-01-02 18:35
Looks like a wuwa character now.
The_RuinQ2026-01-02 19:26
Ok, I am satisfied. Looks good!

karillith2026-01-02 19:51

Shinda_012026-01-02 19:54
The braids like Aether... T T
damagedblood2026-01-02 20:17
God, she looks so so so good.
Rachel15782026-01-02 20:44
Bows and fluff!! I love it!
hhhhhBan2026-01-02 20:57
Still not over the massive hair upgrade
NotKBeniP2026-01-02 21:16
Why'd Lumine get a better outfit while Aether got a belly nerf 😔
Bekas_Strife2026-01-02 22:07
I like her dress but I wish they had kept the slim sleeves/gloves. Reaaally don't like how puffy they are at the shoulders.
VenjoyBg472026-01-02 22:13
Aether really got the superior Fut huh (color scheme since they swapped now she has it)
The original Versions Aether looks Better and now Lumine Looks Better imo
jonnevituwu2026-01-02 22:59
"my gosh girl you look majestic"
💅💅💅
help_I_got_isekaid_2026-01-02 23:27
I will pretend they didn't try give her long hair :,)
esmelusina2026-01-03 00:00
She looks absolutely amazing.
reyo7k22026-01-03 01:21
So from the back it's basically a befafter but with new haircut
Raze772026-01-03 01:27
They needed the extra clothe to cover Aether's midriff.
Puggerspood2026-01-03 02:54
The actual model quality is obviously waaaayyy better but I honestly think the actual outfit design was much better before. The corset on the back, the weird little wrapping acting as a sleeve and the way the flowy bits actually looked like a continuation of the scarf unlike now, there was more charm there I think. But obviously on the technical side the new one is so much better that it looks better in the end.
anyway2008942026-01-03 06:41
lumine look amazing in both, new aether look like a downgrade.

But you can make a "solid" out of them
