Is that an amusement park or just theme park. In Mandarin, 樂園 can be playgounrd, theme park or amusement park depend on context.

Fit-Relative-91882026-01-02 11:56

He mean theme park. They registered hoyoland this year

HeavenBeach7772026-01-02 11:59

That's just mihoyos new office, not exactly a theme park

SnakeTGK2026-01-02 12:36

The new headquarters includes a a gaming culture district (“Shanghai Akihabara”— gaming/ACG-themed experiences), it seems it's also shared with other gacha companies.

Chinese government banning references to Japan while building a neighborhood known for its Japanese heritage 😂

masternieva6662026-01-02 14:04

Well china know it will bring money so they wont stop them.

New_Economist_94292026-01-02 14:11

I want to know if they're going to ban the Genshin anime, this anime will bring billions to the government, in addition to spreading their culture.

masternieva6662026-01-02 14:17

Well genshin is a china ip so they definitely won't ban it.

Moonie-chan2026-01-02 15:46

They only need to call it donghua instead of anime to pass it off as an outsource chinese animation.

Snakescipio2026-01-02 22:09

I mean… they were gonna it donghua with or without the Japan stuff. AFAIK all cartoons are just donghua like how all cartoons are anime.

Ghavarus2026-01-02 09:51

I mean they made stuff like [this](https://x.com/i/status/2006302730470732073) for the current Genshin FES so they already have the necessary objects for a small theme park.

Genshin FES is also a limited time offline event so they have to do something with all these props when the event is over. Might as well use them for another purpose.

define theme park though. bc theme park can range anywhere between local to universal studios lvl

EnvironmentalistAnt2026-01-02 11:02

It’s prob a couple statues, some cosplay spots, and a gift shop.

arminismyspirtanimal2026-01-02 15:56

Yeah 100% It's gonna be like the new pokepark pokemon opened. (probs smaller tho)

ExtrovertArtist2026-01-02 10:00

Not like I'll ever be able to experience it. but its cool that it exists

Fancy_Society_69142026-01-02 10:08

I'll expect rollercoasters, god damn theres many of them they will take inspiration.

Rare_Marionberry7822026-01-02 10:16

Collect Primogems in the theme park

kifune892026-01-02 10:25

Genshin Disneyland

Apostlethe13th2026-01-02 12:50

I would ride the scylla remuria roller coaster while glory and decay plays in the background.

Can’t wait for the primordial water park!

zodiac84582026-01-03 04:00

Fuck the French I guess.

Next year: "in collaboration with the Clair Obscur team, we have invented a liquid that dissolves French people"

Least_Egg_93712026-01-03 04:23

"And the italians too along side the british"

asilvertintedrose2026-01-02 11:03

Damn no wonder they introduced those dodoco-themed rides & games in the 6.2 AQ

reddit_serf2026-01-02 14:15

In the video he also joked that he would not cry this time, as he was memed a lot when he did before. 😆

Critical_Stick78842026-01-02 15:24

太萌了

GeneralZhukov2026-01-02 15:55

Unrelated but a couple seconds earlier he offhandedly mentioned the next region being Snezhnaya. Dunno if that was an accident or not. Also not sure if its STC, though, given the fact that they're working on the next region already, plans should be set.

RevolutionaryFall1022026-01-02 17:25

It has been confirmed that the next region is snezhnaya during the lunar 1 livestream
