Not for the part of their kit that does the relevant damage tho. So it's still in copium territory. Like it's useable, but also quite wasteful when it comes to synergy.
Zibai has her dedicated support on her banner, and since he's a geo you can't use xilonen meaning you'd have to replace her for a different unit (ideally a defensive one that provides buffs/damage).

The OP's team is extremely viable at C0R0 investment. Only with vertical investment on Zibai and C6 Illuga this team won't be keeping up. Furina is used in Skirk team nowadays, Xilonen is dead. I am pulling for Zibai to revitalize them both and my Chiori (in a hyper team with Illuga).

The team calcs about the same as Zibai's premium team with C6 Illuga and Zhongli. It puts a lot more focus on Columbina's damage rather than on Zibai's.
Xilonen is a very good support for Zibai, but without her C2 she needs another PHEC unit on the team in addition to Columbina. Furina is simply the best option available.
Hydro resonance improves Columbina's buffs and damage. The other hydro options all suck except for C6 Aino.
Furina batteries Columbina much better than Aino, allowing her to focus on her personal damage rather than on ER. This makes a meaningful difference because Columbina's energy needs are very high otherwise (min. 200%). You can run Columbina on a damage-focused weapon such as Sac Jade, whereas this wouldn't work in the premium team if you want to use her burst every rotation.
Around 30% of the team's damage is non-lunar damage that is buffed by Furina's burst and by scroll. So Furina definitely contributes more than in Flins or Nefer teams that focus almost exclusively on lunar damage.

Yes, Columbina is her most important team mate. She is what Lauma is to Nefer or Ineffa to Flins. Without her, expect ~30% less damage. Aino can be used as a stand-in if needed.
Illuga is a good support for Zibai but very constellation-dependent. His buffing at C0 is pretty weak. He needs his C2 to feel impactful. And even then, before C6, the Xilonen-Furina team will most likely perform better. With C6 Illuga, they are roughly equivalent at KQM standard, although the Illuga teams will scale much better with investment on Zibai.
The best characters to pair with Illuga are Zhongli or C6 Gorou. Zhongli provides weaker buffs, but this difference is offset if you are using f2p weapons. This is because Zhongli's shield allows Zibai to use Harbinger of Dawn, a significantly better weapon than Flute of Ezpitzal. Having a shield is also nice since Zibai loses a lot of damage when her combo gets interrupted (similar to Clorinde).
On paper, Ineffa would be the strongest last slot for the Illuga team, but it seems that her elemental application doesn't align well with that of the other team members. I'd wait before ruling her out completely though.
So overall, I'd say that Columbina, C6 Illuga, Zhongli is currently looking to be Zibai's premium team, but the other options aren't far off in terms of damage. Ineffa is unlikely to work, but if she does, she will be by far the best choice for the Illuga team.

I hope the 6.3 banners are kind to me. I stupidly skipped Ineffa even though I loved everything about her, so getting her now. I want Columbina, too, and probably Zubai, but if my luck is bad I might skip. Have to see how things go.

Ineffa works it got calced the highest like with Lauma + Ineffa concerns on hyperbloom procs with Columbina turns out its bogus. literally does not matter in the slightest what Lunar reaction happens its their kit thats most important and her kit is by far and away the highest sub dps in the game across the board pre NK. TC guys were pretty much unanimous in that statement per her prerelase
It clocked in at 148k with C6 Illuga (another TC got higher) also shorter rotation.
