Its sad after 5 years we are still locked to play at 60 fps only
at least an \*unlimited\* fps option like on ZZZ would be nice
I swear after playing ZZZ for some time and then coming to play genshin, it hurts my head seeing how the game moves on my screen - \*crying in 165hz screen\*
I also just finished building my dream pc and it makes me sad im forced to play at only 60 fps
It is what is it i guess amiright guys

However, be aware that getting 120FPS through frame generation techniques ****IS NOT*** the same as getting 120FPS through faster rendering.
Frame generation is an interpolation technique, which means it can only generate a new fake frame *after the next real frame* has already been rendered.
In normal rendering, the GPU renders frame 1, shows you frame 1, then renders and shows you frame 2.
In frame generation, the GPU renders frame 1, *does not* show it to you, but instead stores it, then it renders frame 2, then it uses frame 1 and frame 2 to calculate what frame 1.5 should look like, ***then*** it shows you frame 1, then frame 1.5, then frame 2.
Using frame gen'ed 120FPS will result in a laggier *feeling* game than if you just left it at a native 60FPS. If you're not sensitive to that, great, but the penalty is there.
i tried it and when i use Nefer charged attack, she looks like she nas 4 clones instead of 2 haha
Well it is what it is
Since frame gen works by taking the current frame *and the next frame*, and interpolating an in between frame, turning on Smooth Motion can actually make the game feel *worse*, by increasing latency.
