phanes after surt, mavuika and dottore open holes in his eggshell : 😴😴😴

i think the fake sky regenerate by itself (like automatically) not by a shade interference, and even if a shade is involved, it would be asmoday for obvious reasons

Mavuika punched a hole through the false sky, whereas Dottore used his finger as a scalpel to cut an incision on it.
Impressive_Court_7162026-01-02 15:41
Probably the borrowed power from moons or cheat code? What Mauvika did was force opened the hole but I'm assuming he simply undone whatever that was.
Cocoatrice2026-01-02 16:27
Two things: Mavuika did that by accident, using her power. Dottore did this after he stole the moon powers. That's exactly what I've been telling people. Dottore aim above Teyvat. He wants to destroy the laws (and probably gods) that rule over Teyvat to actually free the Teyvat from the lie.
In last Sumeru event, we've known that he is not interested in lies and he has knowledge that other people don't.
We also know, that Dottore will burn Irminsul.
That means, he wants to oppose Teyvat's principles. Heavenly Principles. RULES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN and so on.
That's also why I would never accept when people say he is evil. He does evil. Like Arlecchino. Like Childe. Like a lot of characters. Morally grey characters. But he aims to destroy something worse. He just doesn't care about being good about it.
Raiden did a lot more bad stuff than Dottore. She literally made people suffer for 500 years, because of her neglect. She is the cause of Scaramouche's suffering, too. Her ignorance let Fatui to infiltrate Inazuma and made Mikage Furnace go berserk. We had to fix it or the whole island would go boom. Sakoku Decree, Vision Hunt Decree. These two made people's life miserable. People didn't want to give up their ambitions, and they were stripped out of them. Some of them went crazy, others depressed. Because vision is not just a power. It's ambition. And activating the Kazuha's friend vision shows that perfectly. When it activated in the exact moment, his ambition sparked inside Kazuha.
Either way. Dottore is one of the best written villains. But he isn't just evil. He does evil for greater good. He probably doesn't even care if people will be happy with the outcome. He just wants to oppose the gods who limit Teyvat.
People may hate him, but I love all he's doing. Obviously, when he is abusing Columbina, I don't like it. What he did to Collei is also not cool. And so on. But I love that his actions are solid and he knows what he's doing.
Outrageous-While-6092026-01-02 16:30
tf are you smoking? Mavuika literally borrow Ronova's power, that's why she needs all 6 heroes to awaken and gather to complete the requirements.
RipBitter47012026-01-02 17:14
regardless the motives arguably destroying irminsul is actually evil with how human in teyvat literally depends on it to recyle their soul and store their collective memories/history, especially when the irminsul and fake sky itself have done nothing harmful to human teyvat than protecting them from something beyond the sky
Raikiri0070072026-01-02 17:32
>Raiden did a lot more bad stuff than Dottore. She literally made people suffer for 500 years, because of her neglect
Holy illiteracy. Decrees lasted 2 years.

Nope, she is partly responsible. But dottore is the main reason.

>But he isn't just evil. He does evil for greater good
He is evil. He is more than that, true. But most of his actions are not for the greater good. For example, what he did with scaramouche or his partnership with the previous knave, etc.
Soggy_Leg_7572026-01-02 18:57
Literaly, lmao. The Inazuman people would have been in a perpetual civil war if Raiden was a terrible ruler who made her people suffer for 500 years. The vision hunt decree didn't even last that long in comparison. All she did was for her people, albeit misguided because of grief from losing her twin sister and her differing perspective from ordinary mortals since she is a god.
AverageA2Enjoyer2026-01-02 19:48
Can't even blame her considering like practically all her actions are by puppet and not actually her, also can't really blame a puppet if you only set one rule and that is pursue eternity.
Also unrelated dottore is doing what eren is doing, the end never ever justifies the means.
pontus5552026-01-02 22:08
Not to mention, Inazuma civil war was mostly due to Dottore instigating it by manipulating the tri-commision and giving the "dissidents" hope to actually do something about it

Part 1:
>He wants to destroy the laws (and probably gods) that rule over Teyvat to actually free Teyvat from the lie.
All this talk about "lies" is just an empty slogan. This reads like Andrew Tate talking about "escaping the matrix."
By all accounts, it is not a lie. People live ordinary lives: farming, raising families, forming relationships, chasing their dreams. Normal stuff.
Nothing about this suggests or paints a picture of an existence so fundamentally deceptive that it their lived experience muse be "lies".
Presuming the authority to invalidate others’ lived experience', while positioning oneself as the sole arbiter of “truth”, can hardly be considered the work of a liberator. It is arrogance bordering on a god complex.
And one more thing: Agency does not exist in a vacuum. You can only exercise it within a system with stable rules. How the heck is doing the equivalent of melting Teyvat's support beams supposed to help anyone be more "free"?
If you threw a random person into space as they are, they're not suddenly free from the gravity of Earth just by virtue of being in the vacuum of space. No, they just die, horribly so.
>In last Sumeru event, we've known that he is not interested in lies and he has knowledge that other people don't.
So what? Knowledge, by itself, is not salvific. Doubly so in a setting where things like "Forbidden Knowledge" exists, and we're told that it's incompatible with the world shouldn't exist in Teyvat.
And this pattern of thinking has popped up repeatedly, and we are explicitly shown that this delusional belief has done more harm than good for the common folk.
King Deshret thought the same thing and put that belief into action, and it did not turn out well for him, his people, or anyone around him for that matter.
>We also know that Dottore will burn Irminsul.
I am sure the population will be grateful for the magical equivalent of a lobotomy.
Why don’t we set ourselves on fire too, so we can be free from the constraints of biology? You’re being ridiculous.
>That means he wants to oppose Teyvat’s principles. Heavenly Principles. RULES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN.
This is exactly why ethics courses are mandatory in certain disciplines.
Rules exist because they reliably constrain harm in most circumstances. Without them, you get the law of the jungle, where the strong eat the weak. Freedom presupposes limits: things that can happen and things that cannot, actions that are permissible and actions that are not.
That is the only context in which meaningful choice can exist. You can't be "free" in a world without rules. Intent must lead to certain actions, and that must lead to a predictable outcome.
And, unsurprisingly, Dottore has committed nearly every human-rights violation imaginable, including kidnapping people (including children) and experimenting on them.
I am sure those children were thrilled at experiencing the highest form of freedom under his scalpel.
I am sure that when people of Teyvat will be really grateful that Dottore put an end to the "big bad Heavenly principals" when they are getting ravaged by the abyss. That's if the burning of Irminsul didn't give them a lobotomy already lol.
>That’s also why I would never accept when people say he is evil.
This is not a matter of personal acceptance. It is a matter of classification. That is how language works.
>He does evil. Like Arlecchino. Like Childe. Morally grey characters.
There is nothing morally gray about members of a terrorist organization willing to commit mass slaughter. Their list of crimes is miles long. To name just a few: near-genocide, sabotage of efforts to stop said genocide, terrorism, kidnapping (including children), human experimentation, destabilization of nations, and inciting and fueling civil war, distributing delusions that slowly kill people to factions in the civil war they incited. I could list crimes all day and still not be halfway done.
But that is to be expected when your ideology is indistinguishable from a newborn’s inability to consider anything beyond immediate wants and gratification.
Childe is the same person who freed a malevolent, vengeful god that would have drowned all of Liyue just to bait Morax/Zhongli. Planting bombs around a city and expecting the police to disarm them does not make someone morally gray.
Arlecchino literally runs a child indoctrination program to create soldiers for a state-funded terrorist organization. There is nothing morally gray here.
“Moral greyness” refers to genuine no-win scenarios. Situations where every available option causes harm in some form or results in compromising on some principal (e.g., the classic trolley problem). That is not what is happening here. The alternative is very simple: do not harm innocent people who are just perfectly living their lives because you felt like it.
>But he aims to destroy something worse.
I suspect the cabbage farmers would strongly disagree with that.
You’re talking as if life in Teyvat is nothing but doom and gloom, yet the world is vibrant, and people are living normal lives. Ironically, this exact line of thinking has caused some of the greatest disasters in Teyvat’s history and left people in far worse conditions. Funny how that works.
Every would-be "revolutionary" and “liberator” who didn't think things through or just co-opting that label has put innocent people at risk.
Because it is always the innocents who pay the price for the arrogance and half-baked pseudo-intellectual ideologies of egomaniacs like Dottore who have no code of ethics or conciseness.
What do you think happens after this supposedly "worse" state of affairs is destroyed? Do you imagine universal peace?
When Irminsul is burned, do you think people will express joy and liberation or will they collapse on the ground from the lobotomy they just received?
What about the false sky? Do you think that people will be joyful at the possibility of "new horizons" or the far more predictable outcome we are explicitly warned about: the Abyss that is literally on the edges of Teyvat pouring in and devastating a population that has been rendered vulnerable by his direct actions?
I guess you must really not like houses and shelters, or gravity for that matter.
Void0Cat2026-01-02 19:16
Part 2:
>Raiden did a lot more bad stuff than Dottore. She literally made people suffer for 500 years, because of her neglect.
This is simply incorrect.
It's only the last 1 year or 1.5 years that things have been bad, and even then, it wasn't as bad as you make it out to be.
For those past 500 years, Raiden has been doing well for someone unequipped to govern. And even before that, she's been protecting Inazuma for thousands of years.
If we're going to judge Raiden, we do so by her entire track record, and most of it is great with the small blotches that were those last 1 year or 1.5 years.
There's plenty of valid things to criticize her for, but knowing what deserves critsism is the first step.
>She is the cause of Scaramouche’s suffering.
Dottore is responsible for the overwhelming majority of it, and for enabling Scaramouche to do a ton of evil things.
All Raiden did was leave him at some random palace and gave him a feather ornament as a sign of recognition that he's related to her.
Most of Scaramouche's problems come from being manipulated and abused by Dottore and his own lack of patience. Let's not forget, he's the same person who thought that a friend of his dying was a betrayal.
>Her ignorance let the Fatui infiltrate Inazuma.
Other people committing wrongdoing does not retroactively transfer moral responsibility to her.
While Raiden is the leader, and thus bears responsibility, there is also such a thing as reasonable expectations. We cannot expect someone who is not omniscient to behave as though they are.
Raiden cannot be everywhere at once or aware of every agent or spy at every moment. That's why the Tricommission exists, and guess what, we learn that the Tricommission colluded with the Fatui and betrayed Raiden and the people of Inazuma.
So most of the fault, lies not on Raiden (though she's still a bit at fault), but mostly on the Fatui and the Tricommission.
>Sakoku Decree, Vision Hunt Decree. These two made people's life miserable.
It wasn't ideal, yes, but this was not the hell-scape you're trying to paint. You're over dramatizing a lot of this.
And again, It lasted a year and a half at most, and a significant portion weren't all that affected by it. Many people continued their lives relatively unaffected.
There's a reason why the goal of the resistance movement was just to get the Shogun to reconsider, and why the nation still loves, adores and worships Ei. They didn't demand she abdicate, or deny her legitimacy or anything of the sort, all they wanted was for her to change her mind.
That's called goodwill.
It's to be expected. The god that's living just next the street to you, who has been protecting and guiding your nation for thousands of years and has allowed countless generations of people to live good lives, tends to rack up a lot of good will on account of the good things they do.
>Some of them went crazy, others depressed. Because vision is not just a power. It's ambition. And activating the Kazuha's friend vision shows that perfectly. When it activated in the exact moment, his ambition sparked inside Kazuha.
Cherry-picking doesn't make you look great. A lot of the people who had their visions taken away (there's only been 99 visions stripped, lol), went about life normally, with barely if any adverse side effects.
>Either way. Dottore is one of the best written villains. But he isn't just evil. He does evil for greater good.
I am sure all the people suffering and dying as a direct result of his actions will find that very comforting.
All this talk of "greater good" and zero explanation of what it is and how it will be achieved.
So no, he's just doing evil because he can.
>Obviously, when he is abusing Columbina, I don't like it. What he did to Collei is also not cool. And so on. But I love that his actions are solid and he knows what he's doing.
This is just cognitive dissonance. You need to come up with excuses to rationalize that your favorite isn't the goody-two-shoes you're trying to convince us he is. Come on, what are we doing here?
And while he does know what he’s doing, what he’s doing is not the altruistic fantasy you’ve convinced yourself it is. Just because someone knows they are blowing up a children’s hospital does not make them good or excused.
hipeople917262026-01-02 21:00
He is evil. That doesn’t mean others can’t benefit from him actions. He doesn’t care about living beings. He just focuses on his own interests. He has cast aside moral dilemmas long time ago, that is why he can’t be defined as good
piichan142026-01-03 00:29
He's not doing evil for the greater good, he's doing it to sate his curiosity. If the subject doesn't interest him, he wouldn't care about doing it.
Obviously, one of his biggest obsessions is creating a god to most probably answer his questions about how godhood and the whole of Teyvat works. And he doesn't care about the casualties his experiments cause along the way.
Think of it like how chemotherapy came about. Started as an ingredient in chemical warfare in WW1 then led to the discovery of nitrogen mustard that can treat some types of cancer. If his experiments ever brought about something good, it's as an after effect instead of being the main purpose of why he started doing it.
He's a great villain, but people should stop excusing his wrongdoings just because they won't admit to liking an evil character.

Neznaiu982026-01-02 18:53
It's not celestial/moon powers, that are red it's just anything that removes/interacts with the false sky and the void/space beyond it, i think.

Then again also looks like emulation of Destruction in Amphoreus.
She uses red cubes attacks and the fake sky seems made of red cubes
I'll bring Mavuika to fight him
As our beloved Hydro Dragon of course.
Happy to see more bleach fans here 🤝🏻
I hate HSR so much for "spoiling" that
I just want him as a boss so I can KILL HIM AS MANY TIMES AS I CAN
Is the story worth coming back to?
Alice gonna be pissed
Fr I do love his design and I adore mad science characters so I can't wait to see how this goes down
