1. The Dendro Sovereign is slowly healing from the corruption she held..

2. The Hydro Sovereign has gained his authority back..

3. The Hydro Throne has been destroyed and The Prophecy was reverted..

4. The false sky has been revealed/broken by the Pyro Archon to the common people revealing the truth of Tevyat..

5. One of the Shades is now merged with one of the Sinners who is responsible for like 70% of Tevyat's issues right now..

6. And now this....

And you are telling me the HP is sleeping through all this... Like dude...

it's not really confirmed but tevyat has lots of alchemical references and constantly references the chymical marriage of male and female half (see rene's notes for a prime example.) so it's mostly logical inference

goign off of the artifacts (which are memories we extract from leylines), if the 4 artifacts (flower of life, plume of death, sand of time and goblet of eonothem/space) are female, then the logical conclusion is that circlet of reason is most likely male and maintaining the eggshell.

the original androgynous PO most likely split (chymical unbinding) itself into male heavenly principles and female shades to emulate nibelung the master of light and the moon sisters as the system to run their new world. helps that moon sisters and shades share a lot of thematic motifs and visual imagery, especially ronova and iridiscent/crimson moon.

Pretty sure the abyss sibling is the reason they got stopped at the border; they tried to escape after stuff went south and dragged us along without prpper context. Traveler then, was simply seen as an accomplice.

We’re still figuring out what happened exactly, but the fact that the sibling was never seen leaving the spacepod between when traveler lands and the sibling wakes up, means that the sibling was active in Teyvat beforehand. There’s something fishy going on here.

It's definitely extremely weird for Phanes to be asleep through ALL of this. It's even weirder that non of the Shades are even doing anything about it. It's especially weird that only one shade ever bothered trying to stop an active Descender in Teyvat, and none of the big forces in Teyvat ever bothered with them despite knowing of their status.

Next thing you're going to tell me is that Phanes isn't actually asleep, and has been Paimon all along because of the Crown of Reason. Phanes is just "physically asleep" because he suffered too much damage, so he had to use a puppet to try and have another Descender protect Teyvat or something.

I think Phanes isn't actually asleep either. Not sure if it's Paimon or whatever, but asleep was only ever the assumption of those that do not know what is going on and are making their own guesses. I could see it like Phanes themselves have been tainted by Abyss and thus are hibernating to try and delay their full corruption. Or something else like that. This leaves them in a position where the Traveler entering the story becomes relevant for moving the plot forward.

I think HP is still recovering from whatever it had to do to stop the cataclysm from destroying all of Teyvat 500 years ago. Its power is enormous but still finite and I think it used up a lot of its power back then.

That would also explain why Surtalogi travelled to other worlds to find a good fight instead of fighting HP as right after the cataclysm the heavenly principles might actually have been so weakened as to not offer a real challenge to him.

The eggshell, the false sky, is the most important piece that is protecting Teyvat right now. Even burning Irminsul wouldn't be as catastrophic as losing the false sky. Looks like Phanes is only surviving and prolonging their life by sleeping and can't actually do shit.

Phanes is just spending his time anonymously putting out commissions through the Adventurer’s Guild. Working smarter not harder by just offering primogems and unlocking portions of the map in return for Traveler solving all the problems. Probably used the last of his power before a recovery nap, just scattering the Aranara around Sumeru because it’d be funny and a good way to kill time seeing Traveler track every single one down.
