Why is no archon intervening with Dottore when nod-krai, even the entire teyvat, in a great risk? Are they afraid of him?

I understand Furina, Nahida, and Mauvika, but even Venti has regained most of his strength. Even those far weaker than them are risking their lives to stop Dottore, but what are they doing?

Is Zhongli so weak now? Even so he still has adepts by his side. Why are they allowing innocent people to die?

You might say Ei is too far away, but for the most powerful archon like her, distance shouldn't matter.

For the same reason none of them gave a shit or sent their military to assist Natlan when they had a direct invasion by The Abyss.

For sure this one has logical reasons to it. For decades and millennia, Natlan is prepared and trained enough so they won't need any outside interference.

The invasion that happened during the Archon Quest is a different matter, and it happened extremely quickly and Natlan itself is blindsided. Natlanese also can't leave their region, and even if they do, it'll required the permissions of the tribe's chief, who is definitely very busy at the war.

And even if they somehow did, they'll still have to cross a massive desert, which will likely take a month or two to traverse.

Same can be said the other way around, the closest nation to Natlan is Sumeru, and even then, there's a huge desert between them. The reinforcements will ended up dying before they even reached Natlan from exhaustion.

The only reinforcements Natlan received at best is Capitano and his troops, and they're not there as reinforcement in the first place, just got involved, also the Traveler too.

The short of it is, how do you think the cryo archon would react to them showing up?

When you have enough power to rival whole nations military, you can’t just act on a whim or else you cause problems diplomatically

But also, how much do the others know? The group fighting dottore really hasn’t been super public about everything happening, and messages still take a very long time to travel, it could, in game time, take months for a message to go to inazuma from nodkrai, then we need to wait for people to show up, which could take just as long, or longer due to preparations for a long trip

Simply cuz they can't just intervene any time something big goes on outside their nation.
It's basically cuz it's not their problem. It may affect all of tevyat but the Anemo archon is responsible for Monstad and respectively so are the others. Unless their nation is directly faced with a threat, they won't just get up and start helping others, not to mention, regions like Monstad and liyue are still close and connected, but you have to understand nod krai is super far away and disconnected from the rest of the places. I doubt any archon would leave their nation sail across the sea, to come to an island, fight a harbringer for it (threating diplomatic relations) and just casually be away from their nation for atleast 5 days.

Also most archons only gather when there is a threat that all archons collectively agree to be determined "an avenegers level threat"

*And oh yeah, 4/5 of them don't even have a gnosis. *

Lastly, they're probably aware that other factions such as the hexenzirkel and favonius knights are at work and so it the traveller.

The war lasted for some days, not years. And Natlan was struggling to have messengers in their own land to get status updates. So do you expect them to get messengers to a far off nation, wait for an answer and hope that they MAYBE send soldiers which would take another week to even reach Natlan? Especially since Natlanese can't leave Natlan so they would find a messenger who is not Natlanese.

Plot aside,

1. The Archons prioritise their own nation over all else

2. Archon have never moved on another nation unless ordered by Celestia

3. Not Krai is still the Tsaritsa's territory an Archon intervening in foreign politics can easily be taken as overstepping or even invasion of their territory.

4. The cause of the problem this time is one of the Tsaritsa's own Diplomats who we don't know if is moving under or against her command

International politics are difficult to navigate anything and everything they do is under a microscope. No one wants to antagonised the authority of the God of the nation with the largest military might. Even Nahida helped through Dori since it can easily be covered up as a business transaction instead of showing up herself

If Celestia ordered archons to follow this rule (which they didn't, you made it up) then official/unofficial doesn't make a difference, they shouldn't set foot in that land, period. No Archon in this game ever traveled with entourage or made "official" visits to anywhere at any time, and you can read Archon's voicelines where they talk about visiting other nations with 0 mention of this supposed Celestia policy.

No you clearly don't by the fact that I never even brought up real world politics. That just how international politics work in general real or fictional. Because Nod-Krai having such problem doesn't mean there isn't a similar issue going on in the other nations. From Venti's little Hexerei quest for example, we know there's some abyss threat appearing right now. If Venti leaves, who's to say the abyss looming on the horizon won't take advantage of it? Someone has to act responsible and stay in their nation and be the better leader compared to our real life leaders..

Liyue seems to be having issue as well, for example. And it's simply just Lantern Rite. And Inazuma's on the border of the dark sea. Better to keep the archon with it's people. Ei saw enough. Mavuika? Natlan is still recovering from the abyss calamity as far as I recall. Fontaine is the same, with even a npc coming to Nod-Krai to look for more stable energy

And we already gotten plenty of powerful characters. Who's to say an archon has to be more efficient, then them at handling Nod-Krai's issue?

All of these Comments are Weak Arguments, and the Game's Explanation about "Defense" is FAR worse.

1. The Communication Argument:
The Game has shown time and time again that there's Long Distance Communication Devices, Travel, Technology, Magical Connections, and so on. The excuse that, "There's just no way the News would reach people in time.", is weak.

2. The Defense Argument:
Even weaker still, is the excuse that Scaramouche uses; "They'll just be better off playing defense, rest assured, your friends in other Nations will be safe." I hate to break it to you, but Dottore's Power is LITERALLY consuming entire regions of Nod Krai simultaneously, and this is all just for him EXPERIMENTING, trying out his power, and so on. There isn't a same soul alive that should be bunkering down in their Nation to play "Defence". Varka, literally took like 90% of Mondstadt's Forces across the entire world just on the WHIM of hearing that "Abyssal Forces" were stirring in Nod Krai. Now, they head the one of the Fatui Harbingers, a Powerful Individual of a NOTORIOUSLY Selfish Organization that has harassed literally EVERY Nation in Teyvat, has got his hands on Teyvat-Level Primordial Power??? Uh, yeahhhhh, THAT'S not something ANYONE should just be "riding out".

3. The Politics Argument:
People who use this excuse probably have the strongest one, however, it's still a foolish one. Sure, in times of peace or not Nation-Level Threats, sending an Archon, or someone of the same caliber, is an obvious Red-Flag for Diplomacy, some may even calm it a War-Like Move. But here's the kicker; Nod Krai is Independent. This is literally hammered in EVERY Lore Book, every NPC, every bit of history, hell, even the ARCHON QUEST SEVERAL times. This is literally the ONE PLACE an Archon or someone similar could go and LEGALLY get away with it, let alone diplomatically. The Tsaritsa herself literally set up 3 Harbingers there anyways, THAT'S a breach too last I checked. So if they did it first, who cares who does it next.

4. The Trust Argument:
Again, this excuse is just plain bad. Some argue that the reason why the Archons may not want to act, is because they don't really know the Party fighting against Dottore. Okay, that's fair, for the MOST part, except for one, KEY factor; the Traveler. They literally make a point time and time again during the Plans leading up to Dottore's Ascension that the Traveler has connections with EVERYONE in Teyvat during his travels. Hell, BARE MINIMUM, we should have seen Venti, you know, the Archon of the Nation of Mondstadt? The one led by V A R K A who's currently IN said Party? Or the Hexzenzirchl who are also, HEAVILY tied to Mondstadt and Venti? And with Venti's Arrival, that should've tied in Zhongli, who should've tied in the Adepti, Scaramouche for Nahida, this the rest of the Sumeru Gang, etc. etc. This isn't a matter of "distrust" it's literally the Fate of Teyvat.

Anyways, there were so many heavy hitter that SHOULD have shown up. The Archons, the Adepti, NEUVILLETTE a literal SOVEREIGN DRAGON that probably could've made Dottore nervous bare MINIMUM by just showing up. Skirk, hell, she showed up for some stupid Photo Shoot Event, she couldn't have showed up for the Traveler? For a Worthy Opponent? What about Tartaglia? Here's literally shown READY to help save the Traveler, but written off because he needs to do "Evacuation"??? A GRUNT could do that! What the fuck are the Soldiers for if not to Escort like during the Natlan War??? It's all so stupid, and so are the people trying to excuse it.

The real answer? It's just lazy writing. Perhaps they didn't want to rope in (pay) too many Voice Actors, or maybe, they just wanted to focus the writing on the specific Nod Krai Cast. But that too, is a shitty excuse, because Arlecchino, Albedo, Scaramouche, hell, even Dorri who has ZERO connection to Dottore or anyone else in the group other than the Traveler and SLIGHTLY Nefer, is here. Whatever the case may be, it SUCKED not seeing what could've been an Avengers Level Event play out.
