For me personally this is awesome, as I can theoretically pull on both character banners and on the weapon banner. I want Columbina and Ineffa. HOWEVER, as there is this predatory 50/50 system, I would have to win the 50/50 on both banners, before I can pull on the weapon banner. I just hope I am lucky for once. just had to go pass by for her Durin, Varesa (again) and now probably Ineffa (again) too sigh and am sadly too close to pity to try building up a C6 Iansan (got at least thankfully C4) to not miss my Columbina for a guaranteed Varesa, which can wait another round. The Moon Maiden can't wait as Flins and Lauma Haver. However, on the bright sight, this improves my chances to get Skirk on her first rerun now again and as an Escoffier Haver, this is great :D.. considering that just a C0 Skirk is already stronger than a C6 Ayaka, shes a Must Pull for Cryo DPS, especially if you have said Escoffier, which is her tailormade decicated Buffer

I feared already they'd put Columbina together with a Skirk rerun, or a Mavuika Rerun, basically anything that would cause heavy distraction from Columbina... but yeah, Ineffa quickly became a big gem in herself.

Lauma and Ineffa are much more important for Nefer and Flins respectively. Unless you're using some wacky hexeri Flins team, ineffa is much better of an upgrade than Columbina. And Nefer without Lauma is kind of ass so...

Columbina can however turn your old powercrept dps into lunar dpses but then again, such wheelchair comps are scuffed without ineffa....

She can, but Flins and Nefs are both more reliant on Ineffa and Lauma respectively. Columbina replaces Aino and is a strong upgrade but you still want Ineffa and Lauma over her if you had to choose one.

I mean she can. She's a huge upgrade in damage output and convenience over Aino in all Lunar teams, whether you have Lauma/ Ineffa or not. Doesn't get better than her for the Hydro app slot in Lunar teams.

But at the same time... Bina's kit is designed to benefit heavily from these supports, as much as the DPS does. Like the gap between a Nefer team with Lauma and one without won't lessen with Columbina. It will actually widen because of how much Lauma will be buffing Columbina's damage output.

I currently have about 380 wishes. I was thinking if Columbina was first and ineffa was second half, I would pull Columbina and smack prototype amber on her, since I already have Neuvillette’s weapon. And then second half, I would pull on the weapon banner first. If I get Zibai’s weapon, I would pull her and ineffa. If I got ineffa’s weapon, I would pull just ineffa. This makes it so that I’m not pulling on the second half at all, and I’m probably not going to pull on the weapon banner either, since columbina’s weapon isn’t too high above her f2p options, and I probs will bench my Arlecchino and give the SoSS to Ineffa

Illuga is not a Lauma / Ineffa level character, Zibai only looses like 12k and is Skirk level without him. Zibai - Columbina - Furina - Xilonen is like a 130k team. Illuga really was nerfed during beta to decrease her dependence on him.

If they were split and you went for C2R1 first character, you might lose the 50/50 on the second character and be screwed. Or you leave too many extra pulls, get super lucky and you can't go back to the first character's investment.

Ineffa's is a rerun, so I don't see the problem, people that actually found worth on Ineffa already have her. I personally pulled for her for her design and comfy playstyle + she pretty much fit into any team that has 1 hydro unit ( or against enemies with natural hydro like tulpa)

Those that skipped her are now late to the party and that would always be the case going forward, regardless of where her rerun is set.

This 1000% better as releasing 2 new characters that have massive sinergy like Citlali and Mavuika together, just last year.

And well for new players, everything will feel personal going into a 5 year old gacha game.

This post makes no sense. Why didn't you get Ineffa on her release if you wanted her? You'd be complaining if they reran *any* NK character with Columbina. And what, do you want Ineffa to be delayed even more? And then you'd complain that it's at same time as any other character or isn't as meta relevant since it's more of the Hexen characters. Nor do you have to get both. There's 3-4 other Lunar characters you could have pulled before now to make Columbina a solid upgrade. You don't need to have literally every Lunar 5-star character for their teams to work.

tl;dr you'd whine no matter the circumstances by making up any excuse. Just stop.
