I actually quite liked the mode, at least on the rebel side. But I will repeat it untill it gets boring, *Genshin should not have PvP modes*. It doesn't fit the game at all. And 90% of the PvP modes we get could have just been co-op with gathering coins together.
Just AFK it if you really don't feel like playing it. It's not that serious.

You only have to do it that many times if you're squeezing out every last primo. If you just want the event weapon and all its refinement mats you only have to do one round.
That said, as long as it gets majority good feedback, Hoyo is unlikely to bench it forever so just because you don't like it doesn't mean enough other people *d*on't that it's not worth Hoyo's while to keep dusting it off, tweaking its mechanics, and bringing it back out again.

Then just... stop playing it? You can get all of the exclusive rewards (weapon + furniture) by completing the other modes, all of which are EXTREMELY easy. Even the combat part, you can 3-star each stage with the given Trial Characters on 1x difficulty. Missing out on the remaining 60 Primogems is not going to brick your account if you hate the mode that much.

I don't think anyone defending it has actually played it and seen just how badly unbalanced in favour of the Hunter it is. Literally the only saving grace is that most matches tend to last 30 seconds (After the wait of a minute because Genshin players don't ready up as they aren't beating the "Genshin players can't read" allegations).
