So Traveler skins can be treated as 5 star since we get buffs from them

Is the Diluc buff in the room with us?

It doesn't have a buff but a visual effect. Traveller skins have buffs tied to them. You can't get the buffs without the skins since they are tied to them. Old outfits no buffs new outfits = buffs

Skin grants element infused charged attacks. So maybe this is an 6 star skin. :P

The buffs aren’t tied to the outfits they just come alongside them after completing the AQ.

They are tied to the outfits. In the livestream the buffs are shown only when they are wearing the skin
Son_Milton2026-01-04 05:23
Yes it was shown but they never confirmed you HAD to wear them in order to use the new buffs. They come from the already resonated statues of the seven. Yall act like they’re phasing out the default outfits completely.

You get the buffs when you get the skin therefore there's a correlation this is what the devs said
"And while getting this new outfit.Travelers will also learn more about their originAnd gain a new understanding of how to wield elemental powers." They didn't say you get the buffs after finishing the Archon quest but while getting the skin. Both are happening at the end of the Archon quest but one is not happening without the other

And again they never said you’re REQUIRED to wear them to obtain and/or maintain the buffs. “While getting this outfit“ is not the same as “while wearing this outfit”. Locking the buffs behind wearing the skin is kinda stupid if you think about it.

Ok I misunderstood it's just that they tied the process of getting the outfit in the story to getting the buffs.

No worries, yeah the Genshin dev team is goated but if it’s one thing they always have the most trouble with is communication and clearing certain things up or specifying at the very least.
