Who would be the best dps hu tao team 2026?

Right now im thinking yelan and furina, who would be the best last slot and why?

If you actually want to buff Hu Tao, then Xilonen. Xilonen gives res shred to Pyro that VV can't, and healing for Furina. Xianyun is also an option especially for C0 Hu Tao, because C0 does Jump cancels, and turning those into plunges makes them feel useful and not just super jank.

Otherwise, if you want to accept that you're already using a wheelchair team, then Hu Tao, Yelan, Columbina, Ineffa most likely.

A F2P team of Hu Tao, Furina, Yelan, Xilonen does around 90k DPS. With Xianyun, like 82k or so. There's a lot of off-field DPS happening from Furina+Yelan, but at least they also buff Hu Tao significantly.

But the Columbina+Ineffa wheelchair can supposedly bring any DPS over 100k DPS with just those 2. So, yes it'll be better as a whole, but Hu Tao is already only doing about 1/2 of the team DPS with Furina+Yelan. If you use Columbina+Ineffa, that'll probably go down to 1/3 or 1/4, and she might even be doing less damage in the team than Ineffa does. Because Columbina+Ineffa only buff each other, they barely increase Hu Tao's damage with some Overload procs to add to her Vapes and Ineffa's EM buff.

Her best f2p weapon is in fact Proto Amber. That's going to heal alot alot in fact alot more than Xilonen does

I mean, actual healing wise PAmber will be good for this team, because there's so much HP. But it's still a %HP healing, and Furina fanfare is %HP based, so C0 Furina would still struggle heavily with Fanfare generation. And I think you underestimate Xilonen's healing.

At Furina C1 it's manageable, you'll just barely cap Fanfare by the end of the rotation, plus you start with 150 Fanfare by default so the slow build-up isn't as big an issue. And at C2 it's obviously going to cap fairly easily. I guess starting Hu Tao's field time with burst could generate a bit more fanfare, so maybe it works out. Since you probably won't be getting her low HP passive consistently regardless.

But it doesn't change the fact that Hu Tao is probably going to be outdamaged by Ineffa on this team, and while the shield and EM buffs are nice, most of Ineffa's value in this team is Ascendant Gleam and Lunar Charged damage, which are selfish buffs for her and Columbina, not helping Hu Tao at all.

There's 3 HP scalers, Even Mona outheals Xilonen in Mualani teams. Prototype Amber is for the whole team, Xilonen is singular

Furinas fanfare is going to be really really good either way because of the shifting HP across the board

Hu Tao MH, Furina GT, Bina SMS, Ineffa new set will be her best dps team by a clear distance.

If you want her to have her highest DPS then do what you want but that's like saying Nuevillete having his best dps team while having alot worse team dps overall.

Its not like Hutao is doing zero damage her btw her numbers are actually quite good for a very old character.

I still don't think you quite understand how Furina's fanfare works properly, but sure. If you want a team with the highest DPS that Hu Tao is a part of, then absolutely, Hu Tao Columbina Ineffa Furina. But that will be the case for basically every character, just like last year everyone's best team was Mavuika Citlali Bennett. So if Hu Tao isn't even doing the majority of the damage in this team, is it really a 'Hu Tao' team or just another wheelchair team that Hu Tao is just a little bit better than the others with?

Don't know. The calcs had C6 Jahoda for best just to keep up with Pyro aura but thats so suss for a normal or an advanced Genshin player.

No Yelan is better if Furina has no healer (proto amber isn't enough). And generally hits harder if built equally for dmg.

Unless your Hutao's MH set is much better than any other set, including the upcoming new one.

In a single target scenario, between Proto Amber and Hutao's ult, you have enough healing to fill maybe half of Furina's Fanfare (at C0). Also Furina's summons won't have a damage bonus for most of the rotation.

In a best case multitarget scenario, Furina's buff might get up to ~75% of the maximum, and her summons still go without their damage bonus for most of the rotation - and her summons do less damage than a Yelan Q to begin with.

Not to mention, her damage bonus isn't doing anything for the Lunar Charged damage, which, given this is a wheelchair comp, kind of matters.

I doubt Furina here is actually that much better than Yelan (or another buffer/sub DPS like Kazuha, or Xilonen, especially since they offer res shred which benefits all damage), but you're still stuck with your team constantly at low HP, a cost the other options don't bring.

If you‘re going for highest Hu tao damage and not a wheelchair team:

Vaporize Charged Attack:
Hu tao / Yelan / Furina / Xilonen

~ 150k Charged Attacks

Vaporize Plunge:
Hu tao / Yelan / Furina / Xianyun

~ 200k Plunges

Recommendations:
- Elegy on Yelan for EM
- Furina c1 or c2 with Xilonen
- Xilonen signature is good but not necessary
- Xianyun if you don’t want Furina cons or want to play plunge

Melt Plunge: Hu tao / Citlali (c2) / Xilonen / Xianyun

~ 400k Plunges

Citlali gives a lot of stats, especially at c2. Highest Hu tao damage numbers, but super high investment.

You can swap Yelan for Xingqiu, but Xilonen and c2 Citlali are the only characters so far that can give 40% res shred to Hu Tao since she has no accessible pyro application. And you will do significantly less damage without a res shredder.
