Is pity only what’s in your history or is there a different counter?

I was looking in my standard banner history, and after 4 years of playing I just realised it only goes back exactly 1 year. I have made 52 wishes on the standard banner in the last year, but is my pity actually 52?? Like does the pity reset if you haven’t wished in a year or something?

customer support can tell you your pity for each banner type. we lose visibility for >1 year data but they have access to all

What if we ask support what our pity is every week? Maybe they'll finally add a counter in-game?

it still counts even when it disappears from history, so your pity is 52 for the standard banner. other banners don't share the same pity.

pity never resets on its own:
Limited Character Banners share pity and guarantee between them
Weapon Banner has it's own pity count
Standard Banner has it's own pity count

Chronicle Wish is a bit weird but it has it's own pity count as well, it just isn't always around but your count from last time carries over.

so 52 pity on standard banner will always be 52 pity until you roll more and it goes up, only resetting when you get a 5 star.

Kinda wish they updated it to have a visible counter like ZZZ (and give it to HSR too)
