Hoyo, I beg of you to bring the old Sticker system back already

Stickers are added each updates and yet, this update that was done a while ago limited players to be able to use only 10 sets of stickers or 32 favorites stickers. That's it. Hundred of emojis and yet, somehow they decided to absolutely downgrade this system for no reasons.

We used to be able to see and use ALL of them but since a while ago, Hoyoverse made it so you can only use **10 sticker sets.**

**You can use only 10 sticker sets when at the time I'm complaining about pngs, there are 40+ sticker sets and hundred of emojis to use.**

This was such a stupid decision and yet, no efforts are made to revert it or even update it, why?

I don’t understand why they did this. It’s not like it saves storage, the emotes all still installed and they’re just images anyway.

It's probably to make it easier to select which one you want without having to scroll all the way to the end. Still messy, but I can see that as an explanation

I kinda wish they instead let us have the old system but give us a search bar too. So you could search by character (or maybe a few keywords too). Like if i know i want a specific Keqing emote i could look up Keqing and pick from the ones that have her in them

I always thought it'd be better to just sort the emojis by character, for example you like using a specific character's emojis but the emojis are scattered it's hard to find them all

Form the technical view, saving less stickers saves on memory (probably, it depends how they wrote the code). Although, I don't it's that much.

No it does not. All stickers are already downloaded. That is why swapping stickers is instant.

this.. limiting it to just 32 is ridiculous, when there should be no limit at all, or if neccessary for whichever reason, then at least a significantly bigger number, like 100.. and keep on slowly increasing it, as the number of total emotes keeps on increasing.. just like they keep on increasing the limits of our inventory, they can and should also continously increase our limits of Favourite Emotes

This is the only correct thing to say about stickers. New system is 3473485634775634789754389753489345897 times better than the old one. But it doesn't solve the main issue: favorite sticker limit. I would say 100 would be a good limit.

Honestly can't even say it's better. For example I added my favorite stickers. Then added sticker sets that have other stickers I like or use. But there's like 1-2 stickers I need from each set, and I can't add everything. So now, sometimes, I can't find what I want at all.

My most hated change Genshin has ever done. Yeah, it was kinda bad that we had too many stickers and it was hard to look for the ones we need, but this not only didn’t fix the issue but only made it actually WORSE. Increasing favorite stickers limit is good, but only being able to choose 10 favorite packs while not being able to use other ones sucks. Sometimes I wanna use some sticker I normally don’t use but that would be fitting for the situation, and I have to spend an extra minute looking for it compared to the old system

They could have just given us 10 sets of favorites, or a sort function for stickers while grouping new stickers for characters with old ones (mona stickers are everywhere, just make a Mona sticker set! Or a Mondstadt one!)

I agree so much, I've entirely given up on using them even though I like many of them. I don't know why they insist on making such convoluted systems for things that could be really simple, such as stickers and Artifact Loadouts... In the case of stickers, I feel like literally all we need is a search bar where you can search for the name of the sticker or the name of the character in it.

If they wanted to get a little bit fancy, they could have a list of character categories *(instead of the insane list of repeated "Paimon's Paintings" categories that just take up space without providing any context on the stickers inside)*, and even fancier still they could make it an emoji system where you could just type the name of the sticker in a format like :QiqiFallen: and it would automatically show up as the sticker. But really, just a search bar would be enough and would solve every issue with the interface.

I wish they had a sticker set per character/let us pick what character's stickers we want :/
