If I start today can I possibly get enough primo to guarantee Ineffa?
If so, what will be the best way?
Last time I played Inazuma was the latest region, and I completed all the archon quest till there.
Was always in the fence on starting again, especially with how lore heavy all the patches have been. Opportunity to gamble for Ineffa is a good reason now.

Also 20 days is a lot of time, sort of.
Oh yes, definitely. Open every single chest, do every single world challenge, do the current events, do the abyss and theatre, go through sumeru, natlan, nod krai, Fontaine, it's all just how much time you have and how much will you have.
But you right, that's quite a lot of content.
If you stop thinking about grinding and just focus on enjoying the game, you'll eventually open up your bag and realize you just so happened to end up with 1000 pulls without realizing.
Then, and only then, can you consider recommending Archon Quests and World Quests, to try and get to meet the newer characters and stuff like that.
*Am professional unemployed anyways lol*
Is it difficult? Moderately, assuming you put around 2 hours every day for about 30 days, Archon quests, Story quests and world quest will take probably 2-3 weeks and you need to do exploration during that time as well
I started saving for Varesa and Xilonen at the start of Durin's banner. I pulled Varesa and I had to top up about $30 to pull Xilonen, but that was right at the start of their banner. Had I just played through the banner I would have made earned enough to get her without the top up.
Now I'm saving for Ineffa, and then I'll probably hold for Zibai - because I expect to see Columbina back fairly soon.
The story starts to get really good from now on and if you rush to get ineffa you'll regret later.
Now about primos, the best regions to guarantee a huge amount of them would be natlan and nod krai, but unfortunately those regions are slightly locked behind quest lines. So I would recommend you to start playing the main quest in sumeru and skip everything else. Sumeru has a huge amount of primos and rewards, but the quest lines are GIGANTIC.
Do the main quest in Fontaine too (it's not bad, the good moments are amazing but the boring parts are terrible). Ignore Fontaine exploration and quests too.
Now natlan you should do the main quests and the tribes so you can get your compass, here you'll make A LOT OF PRIMOS. If you get bored or burn out by natlan mechanics and exploration, go to nord krai, is the easiest region to 100%, the quests are nice and the main story might even surpass sumeru. Doesn't have as many rewards as natlan but you can get a lot of primos here.
I think playing around 4 hours per day it'll take around 20 days to do everything I said, this should guarantee you ineffa and leave some pulls for columbina.
I won't skim through main quest don worry!
Yes you can get enough as long as you play hard enough
Don't be tempted by archon quests, they're like 4+ hours each for maybe 2 pulls.
