gaming is a great dps and jean is a good healer plus charlotte and keaya for melt on gaming

Id say you have 2 options for decent teams:
one being a Hyper bloom team with Lisa, Dendro traveler, barbara and maybe Candace for extra hydro. For this you slap as much Elemental Mastery on Lisa, and as much Energy Recharge on traveler.
The other an Overload Gaming, Chevrusse, Lisa and Kujo Sara. The trick here is that Chevrusse gives a significant buff when the team is only Pyro and Electro

I wouldn’t invest resources that much in Chevrusse right now though, since you only need her to use her skill to activate the passive and switch, so it’s not a priority to have her maxed out.

So early the team composition doesn't matter much. But these characters will be useful once you get more characters and can build proper teams.
* Traveler - dendro and pyro are good
* Chevreuse - buffer (and healer) for overload teams(pyro+electro)
* Gaming - strong 4* pyro plunge DPS, at C6 even stronger than some 5* at C0
If you have star glitter you could get Fischl from paimon's shop. And then use this overload team:
Gaming, Fischl, Chevreuse, pyro/electro
For the last slot you can use travel, ideally pyro, but as you are early game and don't have him, electro should suffice, you could also use Lisa or Xiangling (that you can get free copy from spiral abyss, she's also in the shop, so if you have enough star glitter you could get both Fischl and Xiangling from there, but Fischl have priority)

As a side note, if you have Favonius Weapons (Favonius Warbow, Favonius Lance, Favonius Sword, Favonius Greatsword or Favonius Codex), feel free to use and level those if you have nothing better, since they will always be useful.
I have nothing to say about which characters to use though; other people's advice is already sufficient

I've always been curious to try Chongyun/Kaeya/Candace to minmax cryo-infused normal attack main DPS, but I highly doubt that would be anywhere near an ideal team.
Kaeya is a decent off-field damage dealer, Jean is a solid healer and support, I don't know much about most of the other characters, and I've heard Lisa is pretty good in Aggravate teams which you could do through Dendro Traveler's support.
