New bots or hackers?

these top 2 guys might be bots and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. one joined me and immediately left but that's normal but then the second one joined and also immediately left so idk why or who they are and was just curiou.

Hey are you on NA server? I also got them I didn't accept but it was like 3 times all 3 times it wasn't even 1 minute of me logging and they wanted to enter

I've been getting requests from those two as well. I'd say never accept, it's highly suspicious behaviour.

joyning and instantly leaving can be simply seen as bots checking out, which accounts are "active".. because if somebody accepts the join request, the bot can check, ok, theres an active player.. if the bot sends out requests and never gets answers back, thats where they know. ok, this account might be inactive, listed for stealing tries for hackers..

if you keep refusing join requests, the bot will list, active player.. so in doubt, always refuse, never let the request simply run out, because thats exactly what such bots want to check out with their join spam and instantly leaving, because they just got the info for what these kinds of bots got programmed for ...

What do you mean by Never let the request run out? Whats the difference between just refusing and letting it run out? Shouldnt letting it run out mean youre account is inactive?

when sombody does a join request, you get to see that request for a timer of 10 seconds, if that timer runs out, the person who made the request gets a message, that the person who got the join request didn't answer/react..

thats information a bot can recognize and react based on such info.. and what do you think will a programmed bot do, that has ill intent, when ke keeps spamming join requests and constantly receives back the message "user hasn't answered/reacted on your request" ?? Do you think that will decrease or increase the chances of some hackers trying out to hack your account, when from xx join requests were like all of them non reactiions, or when all of them were actively refused by you?

The answer is simple.. if a potential hackers sees, you actively refused all join requests, that person will know, you keep your account under watch, you are playing actively and aren't AFKing around like all the time. These bots n hackers search for inactive people, because inactive players are likely easier to hack, than active people, who watch n follow everythign thats happening aroudn them, while somebody else is in their world... andthere are many people in Genshin ,which whyever allow anybody to join their worlds without needign to do join requests and AFK around in their world, somethign that I'd never do

do all bots have weird names? i have people join an auto leave a lot but they seem like real people unlike these guys.

these two are for a long time the first two more than obvious bots, when you see two accoutns havign exactly the same name with somethign that no normal person woudl ever use as a "name" for literally the MC.. but yeah, such weird names must not be the only way in which bots exist.. you also have bot accounts that are basically from stolen accounts.. which still have naturally just normal looking the names from the persons whose accounts the hackers have stolen. Which is why you have to be extra cautious.. if you have peopel with normal looking names that constantly jopin you, just to instantly leave you again.. thats also either bots, or some kind of bored troll player with too much freetime.. but chances are higher, its a stolen bot account and not some kind of extra created bot account with bot created same names for an easier overview, like these 2 above, which are likely selfmade accounts from a hacker, not stolen accounts, which tend to have still their original owerns own characte names in them, cause those bolts waste no tiem with renaming tthe stolen accounts - usually.. at least ive never seen or heard anything about somethign like this anywhere on genshi nrelated social media platforms so far.. that someone reported about bots havign renamed their characters, after receiving their stolen accounts back.. if somethign like this woudl be a common thing, youd read about stuff liek this on plattforms like reddit, Hoyolab ect.

There's another post addressing these guys somewhere on here. Basically DC stands for Discord, and when you search the profile, it's someone named "Genshin Booster." And they promote their "services" of doing tasks, exploration, etc, for the low low price of cryptocurrency. Apparently there's another account using TG (Telegram) instead of DC
