『Just finished the Liyue chapter, here are my thoughts about the game so far. 』

**『**I kinda see this game as a combination of Demon Slayer and Legend of Zelda while sprinkled with Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I do find it really fun! The main story so far got really engaging and the boss battle with Childe felt climactic, like a anime battle at the peak of a amazing saga. **』**

**『**I once found the side quests annoying, but I kinda like it, as it gives me more time to explore Tevvat (I spelt it wrong) and it gives me time to meet new characters, learn more about already existing characters, and earn extra XP and items like the Kamera. **』**

**『**However, there are some things I don't like. For example, The traveler has to collect the seven elements for them to use. However, He can't use more then one element in actual battle and can't switch and swamp like how Childe could in his boss fight. This came as a disappointment when I first got the geo element, as I was excited to do elemental combinations like a Anemo + Pryo attack. And what's weird, in the cutscene after we fight Childe in his second stage, we see the Traveler use both Anemo and Geo at the same time. So he can do it in cannon but not in actual gameplay? Also, there is one major thing that confused me greatly.**』**

**『**Apparently, The traveler is an alien?**』**

**『**When I was snooping around, I discovered his profile, and saw that Aether couldn't use visions was because he's a alien lifeform. This caught me soooooooooo off guard because it was the first time I was hearing about aliens in a world full of knights, bandits, monsters, and gods.**』**

**『**So far, this game is still awesome, and the only real faults I could find are personal ones that I'm sure not everyone agrees with. I rate this a 8/10 so far and will definitely continue playing!**』**

First 2 seconds into the game are about how you come from another world

I'd also suggest you stop thinking about this game as "a world of knights, bandits, monsters and gods" or you're going to be horribly disappointed

It makes me happy knowing you're enjoying it, but, well... You were supposed to notice the Traveler is an alien on the very first cutscene, lol. But anyway, that aside, I'd rank the story as follows:

Natlan

Liyue

Mondstadt

Inazuma

Nod-Krai hasn't ended yet, but I'm enjoying it a lot.

Probably watched them from yt shorts.(He doesn't even remember that the traveller is from another world which is the first cutscene in the game) I haven't watched or played the other ones he mentioned butt there's no freaking way genshin is similar to demon slayer.

If they can switch elements instantly it would kinda be too OP cuz the game revolves around elemental reactions, mixing different elements using different characters to deal more damage. So if a character can do all that by themselves it would kinda break the game (although I would take it because I also like the traveler.

The traveler being able to quick-swap elements would be a great thing to be honest... but i can see why they haven't enabled that (yet).

As for world quests, while there are some bones to pick (quests unexpectedly starting because you walked into their trigger or things like that), consider that ever since Inazuma, they had what could be considered an "initial, massive glow-up". Any world quest since Inazuma is simply a step above what was in mondstadt and Liyue during genshin's first year, maybe except just the Dragonspine.

dunno. i think they might allow us quickly-swapping elements but i doubt they will make us use multiple elements at once, simply because it would easily be broken.

Well, good that you liked that, here is the newer regions with side quests that jumpscare you from 2 miles away and lock you into a 10min long cutscene of just spamming space bar.
