Rhinedottir alone can mop the floor with Dottore full moon powered and give the leftovers to the Bakunawa. Ronova just need to slap her fingers and he's no more. Istaroth can turn him into an embryo or just kept him frozen in time as a decoration. Asmoday can trap him into a cube where nothing but him exists. And that's only the shades, I can't even think what HP could do with him if they wasn't sleeping. Heck, for what we know Alice can break 4th and 5th walls with his face. People give him too much credit, imo. Granted, he has the moon marrows, right. The same moon marrows that Columbina, a true moon goddess, couldn't handle for long because they would reject her. The moon powers that Teyvat itself reject it, what makes you think a human could do better than the actual moon goddess? People really need to understand that what Dottore did is basically stealing some of the power of moons using the moon marrows. Not the actual moons. He has access to some of the core Teyvat's laws but he definitely has no access to rewrite the world as he claims to be. If he could, he would do it without giving it a second thought.

Is he a threat? Hell yeah. By far the biggest threat so far in Traveler's story.

Will he stay as the biggest threat that have ever come to Teyvat? Nope.

Is he the most dangerous thing that have ever threatened Teyvat, or is he a notable threat compared to what had happened in the past? Hell no.

Either way, Dottore is interesting character. I understand being mad at what he's done, that's normal. But a lot of Genshin players gets overly toxic and insecure that the fictional character exist.

Not to mention, I don't understand why are people pretending that Dottore is the only character that did evil stuff. Arlecchino literally tried to assassinate Furina. And she does stuff like that on daily basis. Childe also tried to pull a genocide on Liyue Harbor. Somehow both of their actions are ignored by players, pretending that they are nice and kind people. Players really forget that Fatui are not doing a charity. And even Capitano. He wanted to do something very bad to solve the problem. How does that make him any different from Dottore - he does something bad, to solve the Teyvat problem with fake sky, gods and stuff. Dottore did nothing different than Capitano wanted, he just aimed at bigger scale.

Either way. Hating character is okay, as long as it's not toxicity. Because Dottore doing all the bad stuff can make you angry. But being angry for fictional character and taking this anger outside the fiction, totally different situation.

Hard to fully hate him when he hasn't really done anything that much on screen. Dude just appears and disappears from the plot whenever he likes without really doing anything substantial. Hell, he only appeared at the end of last patch and he's either dying or running away next patch.
