1. **Tighnari Victreebel** = he studies plants and often times dangerous ones. Feels like something he'd encounter in the wild and find a Mega stone for.
2. **Ayaka/Ayato Greninja** = I couldn't pick between Ayaka or Ayato - cuz honestly they don't seem like they match other than the Japanese inspirations - so I'll choose both and say Mega Greninja is officially the Mega Pokémon the Yashiro Commission uses whenever needed.
3. **Escoffier Tatsugiri** = the food Mega :D although tbh I think Gmax Alcremie works better for her, but for the purposes of the post, she gets Mega Tatsugiri
4. **Candace Feraligatr** = the Hydro Consecrated Beasts are first found (cmiiw) in the Sumeru desert, so this seems fitting for Candace. She could have found one in one of the many underground ruins and looked for a Mega stone for it. I already [drafted a team for her](https://www.reddit.com/r/CandaceMains/comments/1cm32x6/im_finalizing_a_lore_accurate_pokemon_team_for/) if you wanna see the reasons for the rest :D.
5. **Mona Starmie** = I already gave her base Starmie for obvious reasons, so the Mega stone could be a gift from Barbeloth. I want to believe that she still does gift Mona some things and not just ragebaiting her in her spare time :'D
6. **Barbeloth Meowstic** = honestly a weak connection, I mainly picked it to show her being stronger than Mona [who I gave base Meowstic to](https://www.reddit.com/r/MonaMains/comments/1nf9h3k/lore_accurate_pokemon_teams_for_characters_that_i/) (cuz she's fond of cats). But it could potentially work lore-wise: Barbeloth is mostly associated with her prophecies and while Mega Meowstic has not been described to do that, it's increased Psychic powers could potentially allow it to. And also the color scheme matches (from the little we've seen of Barbeloth).
The remaining Megas I couldn't match with any Genshin character.

I'd give Mega Scovillain to Xiangling.
In ZA there is a side mission where you need a specific attack of Scovillain to spice up food. Xiangling is a cook that already gives chili peppers to Guoba.

I would give Dragalge to Durin. Both are corrosive Dragon creatures. Durin because of his abyssal nature and Dragalge because of it's poison type.

Yes lmao, the only ones I couldn't match were Scolipede, Eelektross, Floette, Dragalge, the two Raichu, Garchomp Z, and Heatran.

Cool, that does work. I was so focused on Kinich and Scovillain (but I didn't end up giving to him) that I didn't consider it for Xiangling. I think Emboar works too but if I compare, maybe Scovillain is better for the reasons you mentioned.

Hmm I have to disagree. For birds, I think [Noctowl](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/1cj46zk/i_drew_dilucs_pokemon_team/) is better due to his constellation.

Actually, I don't think there's been any official mention of Drampa being able to control the weather. The biggest connection they have is they love playing with children and gets violently protective of them. Mega Dragonite, on the other hand, has been mentioned to control the weather AND the shiny is blue. Altho a full Pokemon team has 6 members so maybe I'll put em both :D

I guess that works. I'm not a big fan of the coloring with Nahida tho. There's always [Celebi and/or Shaymin](https://www.reddit.com/r/NahidaMains/comments/1c4ccin/im_finalizing_a_lore_accurate_pokemon_team_for/) who can cover the same reason.

Well I think Groudon fits more the ancient ground creatures, especially for an Archon like Zhongli instead of the possibly common Golurk during ancient times.

As with my part 2 of the post, I think it fits better with Ei since Zeraora's described to be the strongest Electric type if its "limiters" are removed. It's pretty far from Miko's fighting style anyway even tho the typings are the same. I usually don't consider typing to be a big part of the picking process. You'd be surprised how little Electric types fit Electro characters that isn't just for the type.

Ah, I still think Mega Chandelure fits better the House of the Hearth connection since Heatran is a more of a dangerous furnace. I know a furnace is closer to a fireplace than a chandelier, but I can't see Arlecchino having something so unstable as Mega Heatran personally.
