Help with choosing the next character
Hello, new player here, AR42, wished for Varesa this banner, got lucky with her weapon with early pull, but unlucky with Varesa's support, Chev is c0 and Ian C1. My question is, keep wishing to try to get Varesa c1 and hopefully her supports or wait for another character? If so, which one? Heard some suggestions like Neuvilette/Zibai/Columbina/Nefer etc. but I have 0 clue and can't decide.
I really like Varesa's playstyle but at the same time would like some more characters in my roster, which is the better path in your opinion?

Saving your primo for future character that will come out and fit your liking while playing with your current favourite character c0 is the best bet for my opinion.
For what character to pull is for you to decide if you like their gameplay or design or characterization.
Playing 1 playstyle for too long would bore you out. I'm even tired of current Mavuika meta team I'm only using it to clear hard content now.
Edit: Also don't chase for 4 star character or con the RNG for 4 star is shit.
So which characters would you recommend for me to pull that are near-ish? Probably looking to get some dps right 🤔
Haven't really touched any hard content so far, just exploring and doing quests, waiting to hit 45 to hopefully get some good artifacts
The sure DPS that are coming out is Zibai and Neuvilette so if you like them go for it. With Zibai you need Columbina and Illuga. With Neuvilette Furina is a must, rest you can flex with one Off field and one buffer.
I would wait for future character tbh since the DPS banner phase is already done like Flins and Nefer.
Lookout for Mavuika premium team or Skirk premium team or Flins team if you want meta thou. Or might wanna check for new DPS team like Hexerei character Nicole, Varka?? and Alice.
Other than SO(Stygian Onslaugh) most of the endgame "hard" content can be cleared with c0 characters and requirements kinda change every rotation so you might want more character. Thou you can brute force Abyss with most Meta Premium if they are not outright countered but on IT(Imaginarium Theater) you would want more character including 4 star to be built.
As usual it depends on you if you think you will have fun playing that character go ahead.

For Zibai, Geo as an element sucks. And I don't know how much new Lunar Geo reaction would help but it turns Geo into useful DPS reaction and you need Hydro for that reaction.
Neuvi kinda fall off from recent meta but still useful. If it was me I would pull Furina first instead of Neuvi since she is more versatile (She can walk on water, yep) can use her on Skirk Team too. But if you want you can play Neuvi without Furina, for me it feels like something is missing without Furina.
Single version would go for 6 weeks and new character came in some version with reruns. So for Varka and Nicole to come you need to wait 1-3 versions. Est. around 2 to 5 months from now.
Edit: Varesa overload count as one too.
Yea I'm liking Varesa with durin now, it's hilarious to jump around everyone. I'll see what Columbina's gameplay will definitely look like when she's released and then I'll probably decide between her and Neuvilette.. thank you! I might post here again in few weeks 🤣
