I hate that dragon with a passion, bro is not even hard, my c6 Furina eats his attacks for breakfast, it is just an annoying and long ass fight cuz half of the time he is invincible or far from me cuz bro scared, I also hate how my pets refuse to attack him while he is doing some of his attacks even tho Im right there.

Apep's parasite, Azhdaha, and Scaramech are still the more annoying ones to farm. Those three have HP gates, unskippable cutscenes, and invulnerability phases. At least I could kill the Abyss Dragon with a strong enough team before it could move around.

Lmao you just kazuha apep's parasites and it dies since it has no hp, Azdaha is so old that even Zhongli's shield is too broken for it and it has also no hp and Scaraboss is just afk fest for most of the fight with the difference that I dont need to dodge battlefield-wide attacks all the time.
...and those bosses dont need very fast attacks or natlan characters so you can bring an actual team and not some random pieces that you found lying around or sell your soul for the natlan gods and use the team the game oh so desperately wants you to use.

An arguably very specific team, try to not use that one and see how annoying this guy is; "oh no, it seems that you dont have enough nightsoul dmg to deal with three shields far from each other in 2s, unfortunately, you will have to not only dodge but also watch this long ass cutscene of an attack coming directly from Elden ring".

I get your point. I could only one-rotate the abyss dragon with a Mavuika or Skirk team for now. It's a pain to fight when I'm using new characters to get those friendship exp. But I don't really bother now with farming friendship exp quickly so I'd just use Skirk or Mavuika anyway.
I still think the Abyss Dragon is faster (not easier) to fight when you got strong enough characters that can deal with it before it does its stalling moves. Apep's parasite, Azhdaha, and Scaramech will stall time no matter what teams you use but can be dealt with by even weaker teams and characters. I find the latter 3 more annoying to deal with since the fight takes so long no matter what team I use, and most of the time I'm doing nothing but watch and wait.
