What a weird take. If you don't like co-op then don't play co-op. Entering the game mode and constantly rejecting matching just brings nothing but annoyance to others. I hate co-op with my very soul so I just skip it if I deem the rewards not worth my stress levels. The total primogems for Snowtrace is a whopping 120 which is less than a day of earning with Welkin + daily. No skin off my back. Do I get annoyed if they shove in too many co-op events? Of course! But If I can't be assed to participate then I'll just skip.

I confess to sometimes do the same when there are 3 other cyrillic names. why? because the times I played with them, they either do nothing to progress the game, or then mass capture at the end once everyone is gathered in one place. like, wtf.

It has nothing to do with "Oh no, I don't want to play with RUSSIANS." tho. I also have bad experience with people who use Cyrillic in Genshin Co-Op. I personally don't refuse anything but I can kinda understand people who do, since a lot of times they only use Cyrillic in chat even if nobody else can understand it and it makes communicating really hard. Most other Europeans are just fine with accepting English as communication. I wouldn't call this issue racist at all, but I also wouldn't like playing in a team where everyone besides me speaks another language and doesn't even try to communicate with me.

Not only russians use cyrillic alphabet. Users from Eastern Europe can choose between russian and english versions of the game, both are not excellent, but someone can prefer the russian one.

It's because of ping. Matchmaking is poorly designed. It's not uncommon for it to pair people who are very far apart geographically, which causes ping issues, disconnections, or slow loading times.
As soon as people see an alphabet that isn't theirs, they refuse, and since there's always at least one person in this situation per matchmaking session, it creates a cycle of cancellations.

I think it might be because some Russian accounts hack in co-op games and the game doesn't ban them permanently. Happened to me once and my account was trapped in infinite death loop.
