He voiced Sire Denathrius in WoW years back, and he did such an amazing job voicing him that the dev team decided not to kill off his character so they could bring Ray back and do more work as him

What's with that pause on that first one's read? That was odd.

Xilonen's is the best
FDTerritory2026-01-03 22:44
The more I hear Xilonen, the more she's in my top 5 VAed characters. It's such a unique take for this game.
Xenophoresis2026-01-03 23:43
Xilonen is very relatable

CAN IT, MAVUIKA
Particular_Web32152026-01-04 12:58
she nails the friendly fun aunt perfectly.
-average-reddit-user2026-01-04 00:21
She's also the VA of Belle from Brawl Stars. I clocked it immediately once I played Belle after getting Xilonen.
Particular_Web32152026-01-04 13:00
no wonder she's so familiar.

I adore Jahoda’s voice and Alice’s witchy laugh. Generally speaking Genshin has one of the greatest english dubs I’ve ever heard in a videogame.
I can never get enough of Alice's voice. She's so....mother
-Illuzio-2026-01-04 06:30
yeah her voice got me ngl. wasn't ever interested in her character until recently
Fullpotentialk2026-01-04 08:18
Her va is also a mother.
William_Joyce2026-01-04 01:42
No Mara Junot?!
But Rachel Kimsey is a rapidly approaching equal 1st IMO
Squawnk2026-01-04 02:05
I adore Mara Junot's voice, I mained Evelyn for years in league and when I picked up Genshin I was delighted to hear so many familiar voices
masterdiwa2026-01-04 02:15
LOVE THIS!
naminaminaminami2026-01-04 03:30
someone please tell me neuvilette's VA does ebook readings or something like that. oh gosh what a charming voice
Pastrami-on-Rye2026-01-04 05:18
He does! But his real talking voice is a little different
[if you want to listen](https://www.audiobooksnow.com/narrator/Ray%20Chase/), here is a list of some of his audiobooks with samples
notneveah2026-01-04 05:14
I love your interviews so much.
mayekchris2026-01-04 05:15
Thank you! It's still been very cool and surprising to be the only person regularly interviewing actors who are added to the game for these last several years
not-Kunt-Tulgar2026-01-04 05:34
Plenty who have the memory of wine but ain’t no one wanna share that.
ScreechingPizzaCat2026-01-04 05:58
Me who plays only in Chinese: Who are these people?
But seriously, I love to see more than just the English VA doing voiceovers on this subreddit. The other VAs put just as much passion into their craft as anyone else.
-Illuzio-2026-01-04 06:29
xilonen Alice and johda the best
RemoteDifficult65762026-01-04 06:43
Flins’s VA Nic Olsen, is such a character. If you ever watched his streams
mayekchris2026-01-04 06:46
He started streaming after I interviewed him. I like his dry humor
YeetaIta2026-01-04 08:07
pure gold, especially beth's
NarwhalWeird1772026-01-04 09:41
Damn Alice!
luxyuz2026-01-04 09:45
I can relate to Xilonen 😴
aliskyart2026-01-04 17:56
Something about Nic Olsen‘s voice acting makes me weak in the knees.
