I'm... not that well versed in Genshin lore like some of the actual lore nerds, I just sone times visit the wiki page to look up interesting stuff...

I don't know specifically how this community will think of original characters but I'll just introduce him and the relevant points that I needed to get out.

---

Before I get to the character, I have to explain the "headcanon" (or just interpretations... I guess) for seelies though.

So... seelies are Angels, right? Devolved forms of the Angels who once served a specific role for the eavenly Principles... So, what I really think an existence of a seelie nowadays would look like is this:

Since seelies are devolved, I'd assume they lost many functions. One of them being able to remember... yeah, no shit, it was explained in the wiki as "if any Seelie were to focus their love on a single individual, their divine form and mind would crumble, leaving them as the small, floating spirits seen in the game." What I took heavily from this is that the Angels are lobotomized (okay... maybe not in a straight forward way, but you get the point), since it was said "They retain a shred of their original purpose and a lingering desire to guide travelers." they still must have some personalities, right?

From this, we can say, in a solid matter, Seelies have gold fish memory... and thus, them wandering about and following their intuition and sense of duty is mainly how they spend their time in Teyvat. They feel but they don't reflect about it, able to tell emotions and act accordingly in their own limited ways.

Wander > Find someone > Guide > (If the adventurer leaves, they forget and wander back to where they were) > (If they did find their Seelie court and the treasures beside them, the Seelie is bound to the seelie court for a long time.

Here is where another theory comes in, Seelies in their courts have a very rare chance to wander off from their courts...

About Warming spirits though... So... According to the wiki, the warming bottles are basically alchemical replication of the effects of a warming seelie. So that got me quesitoning, what's stopping people from going to Dragonspine and hunting actual warming seelies, put them in a jar and sell them on black markets as reusable warming bottles? No need for complex alchemical reactions, works way better than the synthesized ones.

Anyways, that's basically what I think of the Seelies, which will be significant for later stuff.

So. The guy's name is Flint, Flint Nathaniel (Yeah yeah, very original... Also, no, this was before Flins was even announced, around the time of 5.0 to 5.1)

Before I even thought of making him a seelie-turned-humanoid, I sorta imagined the character's lore (like a I usually do) as I was inspired by Grandaloe's human design for Baron Bunny.

I don't wanna bore you with the iterations of lore so here's the recently updated full lore:

Flint was a Warming Seelie in the outskirts area of the Entombed city. Since he is already a Seelie, he doesn't remember anything about the times when he was an Angel.

Just like other Seelies, his routine was simple and a jumbled mess.

And well, one day, this warming seelie got captured, chucked into a jar and were brought into Mondstadt, probably going to be sold to the adventurers from the guild in higher price.

What happens is that, young Amber (I assume she would be around 6, not a solidified number so don't think too hard) and her Grandfather just so happened to be passing by the market and the Grandfather noticed the lone warming seelie, decided to garner Amber's attention to it, paid handsomely for it and thought maybe he could bring Amber with him to release the Seelie back to Dragonspine.

Here, I thought of a scene like Amber holding this jar, looking through the glass, bewildred by the Warming Seelie in it, albeit being her first time seeing one, whispering something to it like "woah... you're even more brighter than the fake ones... Grandpa said we're going to set you free, hang on."

What happens is that this unlocks something back for the Seelie. (I know there is a curse... We can discuss how to get around it).

Up until this point, the seelie's world has been a white void with occasional passing trees and adventures it can't remember, wilted leaves, and snapped twigs on the ground which marked the routes to its seelie court.

And after witness Amber, the world for it was brighter, clearer, and it could definitely remember Amber and what she said.

Later when they did release the Seelie on the base of Dragonspine, it quietly went out of view for some time until the pair left and it decided to follow them back to the city, where it bee lined to Amber's home and got caught by the mother, who noticed it was the same seelie Amber and her Grandfather was supposedly set free, thinks it's something dvinity related, stuffs him into a plushie and basically.... that's how Baron Bunny came to be.

The seelies, as theBaron Bunny, spends most of its time with Amber, quietly learning to occupy the plush body. Even if he doesn't understand why he shouldn't nove when Amber is looking, he just did it out of a "hunch" he had, even then, during moments when she needed help he would move regardless if she notices or not.

---

The transition from Baron Bunny to Flint, I haven't made any explanation yet, all he knows is that it happened pretty recently. From his point of view though, he just woke up with functioning and efficient limbs in a flower field outside of the city. Running into Amber (Current day) and gets his ass beaten cause she is tok dense to realize who he is.

---

I'm pretty much done with the main stuff.

I've also made a (somewhat chaotic and unintuitive) kit + a whole ass artifact (single one, not a set)

Character Overview

Once believed to be a wandering Seelie who took on a human form, Flint Nathaniel now serves as an honorary member of the Outrider division.
