Skirk is also recorded in Irm as a decender.
I do belive the changing of the colors in the clothing is something the same as a "vision gem" only travelers one is special. Is placed / sown into her clothing.

You got it backwards. If you play as Lumine, she *isn't* recorded in irmunsul, but Aether is. But it is true that she is a descender and he isn't.

I mean, its common in Teyvat to be able to infuse weapons with elemental energy. What stops you from doing it to other items aswell.
Even if said item isnt from teyvat, the process could work on a similar basis.

My guess is that in lore the color is always white, and the color we see is just an indicator to know what element we have traveler with. No other explanation makes sense, really
