returning player, need advice

ive been playing the game since 1.1, on with off with breaks, and each time when i came back to the game, I catched up with the content just fine.
however now i can't keep up with anything and im as lost as never.
i stopped playing after escoffier came out, so its been 7 months, and i found myself returning yesterday, however all these new mechanics, gameplay and lore is too confusing to me and i cant understand any of it.
could anyone, please, explain to me everything that ive missed😅? the new mode with manecins, whats this about? is there also anything important that happened in the lore?
thank you for all of your help.
( this hasn't been my longest break, i could go on year and some months without playing, but the amount of new content now is just overwhelming )

There is a new Roblox - like game mode, it doesn't give primos.
Nod Krai has Lunar reactions, only new 5* characters can activate it, it's like better bloom, electro-charged, new patch is going to add new geo hydro lunar reaction.

Do the archon quest, that's too much to explain.

Players created mini games, some are allegedly good. I am not a fan of it.

You can def skip it and huge TY to the devs for NOT making the rewards primos or really anything that affects the main game. Rewards from this Roblox-type game mode are all to do with a customizable character.

If you’re interested in the fan-made games themselves, give it a go. Some seem fun but also some seem like a complete waste of time-which is kinda the point too, lol. I choose to not play it much because I’m so far behind main game content and I have other phone games I like playing.

I’ll check out the fan-made games at a glance on occasion to see if there’s anything that catches my eye if I have the time for a little mini game or whatever. Just know that it’s not serious and you can skip all rewards and content and just focus on main game.

Eh, I wouldn't call lunar bloom better bloom. All it does is generate special resource for (currently) one character in the game.

Don't worry as a players who doesn't take a break I am confused as you too on lore department watching lore CCs would clear that up.

For gameplay we have new reaction called Lunar Reaction exclusively for Nodkrai 6.0 5 star characters and Hexerei Faction Buff for Old and New Character.

Lunar Reaction is basically normal reaction with added Crit Multiplier and currently only have Lunar Charged(Electro Charge) and Lunar Bloom(Dendro Bloom) Nodkrai 6.0 5 star character gameplay based on that. New 6.3 version will have new Lunar Reaction called Lunar Crystallization it completely change how Geo reaction works.

Hexerei thing is just a buff for some old character + to sell new Hexerei Character like Durin, Nicole, Alice. You need to do Hexerei Quest (required have character above lvl 70?) and to use that buff you need 2 of Hexerei Character in team. Eg. Venti + Durin and Venti Hex buff allow him to be on-field anemo NA DPS. Each have it own buff. (Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Fish, Sugar and Razor)

Manekin (Milliastra Wonderland) is UGC basically a Roblox.
