Dain did the right thing. King Irmin would have let Kharnriah fall even if he didn't attempt a coup. And the creation of 5 sinners was derived from their pursuit of Abyssal Power, Dain did nothing. If only, Dain actually tried to stop King Irmin and tried to change his ways to protect Khaenriah but his efforts were in vain.
