Name a character who has been power creeped as hard as kachina? I'll wait

I don't think I've ever seen a character fall off this hard. Kachina went from being the first 4 star Natlan character to never being talked again. The difference bw her and Xilonen is night and day. I don't think there should be this big of difference bw a premium 5 star alternative.

After Natlan, Genshin is pushing character specific team building, that has kind of ruined the team building experience for me. bcos of this I'm hesitant to pull for Nod Krai characters.

Still she is very cute and adorable. If you love her and enjoy her playstyle (I do), pls build her.

theres a good number who use furina over aino in her teams cos ainos just not good. and furinas literally there for easy hydro app. one button, no waiting for a burst or energy. its sad. aino shoulda been treated better

Even if you get Columbina and like to run Furina for whatever reason in lunar teams, that's still only 2 hydro units and next patch we're getting third lunar carry. Not to mention that you might want Furina in non lunar team.

Diluc is behind Varesa (no questions about it), Gaming (if we're fr) and even Xiao (if we're generous to Mr Socks).

There's also some dunk stuff like Escoffier (cryo Reso > pyro Reso, better energy economy, her skill enjoying Bennett buff) or Freminent (higher MV on plunges thanks to constellation levels and again cryo Reso)

To fall off hard one would have to have been up in the first place, and being honest, Kachina was never really all that good to begin with. Even at her best she was simply the "make do" option in 5.0, a time when she was literally the only Natlan support, and that changed quickly after Xilonen.

I don't know about that, I barely used Kachina at all, but Aino work great for Flins.

The mere fact that she's Hydro gives Aino much more team value than Kachina's Geo.

Kachina ... Climbs. Slowly. And can use the Tepetlisaur mechanics. That's her use.

Aino has no reliance on NAs for hydro app and short cooldowns. This in itself gives her use. Of course Columbina is better, but 3 characters want Columbina and you can't use her in more than 1 team at a time.

Honestly I don’t think she was good enough at a baseline to even call her powercrept. I like kachina, I have her leveled for IT, but shes never been a good unit.

Her only purpose was and still is to be a scroll bot lol.

I have a fully built C6 Kachina and a fully built C1 R1 Xilonen. They are superficially similar but fulfill very different roles.

Kachina is a flexible geo construct user who interacts with shield shards. She can switch between on-field and off-field on the fly and works great in Gorou teams.

Xilonen is primarily a RES shredder and off field healer but also have a niche use as main dps in Geo teams.

They are not the same. The only thing they have in common is their wall climbing.

Also, Kachina's skill is better for mining ores.

Diluc after like 2 months objectively literally at the beginning of playing because Xiangling exists and even worse when Klee became available.

Aino definetly not especially at C2/C6 the extra hit and all the Lunar bonus attached makes her keep relevance (Fact is Aino C6 gives more support buff than Bina CO its just that Bina does damage) with all the Nod Krai DPS carries... which is Nefer, Lauma, Bina, Zibai, Flins, Ineffa and yes im including Lauma and Ineffa because they support your team by killing everything off the field.

weird choice. When someone is power crept it implies they were once regarded as being very good. I've never heard anyone say that about Kachina until now.
