If there are any, they’ll list it in the patch notes iirc

Idk
Previous one heavily featured Hu Tao.
I guess this one will be kinda Zibai SQ but you will need to have done Nod Krai AQ because it will be moon related.

I don't think I will be able yo go from Fontane to Nod Krai in time. I still have many story quests as well.

I mean they will be probably just useful to enjoy it without being lost, not obligatory to unlock the event.

I just don't wanna mess up the story. Are you sure it's fine?

Well Lantern Rite gives a lot of rewards it would have been sad to miss those if you prevent yourself from enjoying it because you are not up to date with the story.
It's just on you. I know people who do all the story quests in the right order and have not unlocked Natlan and Nod Krai yet ^^

We don't actually know how closely it will be related to exactly what's happening in Nod-Krai right now despite them both having to do with the moon. Hoyo generally makes Lantern Rite so that it can be played even if you're relatively early in the story.
That said, there's a *lot* of lore in the game about the moon and if you know the stuff we learn in Nod-Krai it will probably enhance whatever is going to happen in Lantern Rite but that doesn't mean you'll necessarily be spoiled if you haven't done it.

Ok then.

Usually events of version X expect you to be up to date with the AQ and SQ of version X. Order tends to be AQ -> SQ -> main event. Considering the theme of the lantern rite, it's easy to assume you'll need to be up to date with Nod Krai's AQ to get all the moon lore.
I would have said that usually events don't actually require it that badly and just risk breaking immersion by mentioning events or characters you may not yet have experienced, but this time it's different. Since this lantern rite is going to be permanent, you can assume it will have some importance in the game's story, like Natlan's summer quest which introduced the Mare Jivari, so in that case you should treat it like a main quest interlude and not like a disconnected event that can be ignored. But that also means you're not in a rush in terms of story since you can just keep it for later, just unlock the minigames to get the primogems.
