Returning player completely lost

I started back in 2020, but got super busy with school stuff, so I basically haven’t played since mid-2022. I’m so overstimulated by how many new characters there are now 😅. I’ve done a few random wishes over the years and played lightly here and there, so I’m still just exploring Sumeru.

Right now, I use Hu Tao, Ayaka, Xiao (and briefly Keqing) as my main DPS. Which teams work best for these four? I also have Raiden, Yelan, Yoimiya, Zhongli, Venti, Albedo, Jean, Kokomi, Citali, and most other 4-stars from the earlier regions.

Honestly, I’m not worried about using the absolute “best” characters—just want to get back into the game as a way to destress from reading 100 pages of law books lol.

Well, Xiao is going to want a healer so you'll want to put him with either Kokomi or Jean. Venti and Albedo have buffs now if you do the quest from Alice (the Hexerei stuff) in the library (Fischl, Sucrose, and Razor also have buffs). So if you put two of the Hexerei characters together after you do those quests, their buffs activate (it's kind of like how you get effects if you use characters of the same element type on a team). If it were me I'd put Venti and Fischl together.

Ngl bro, you can use any team you want in overworld cuz it doesn’t matter. As for the abyss, you most likely can’t 36star cuz the characters are extremely outdated. Same thing happened with me, i stopped playing back towards the end of 2022 and just got back to it a few months ago. Put any team you want. When you have enough wishes, pull for two main dpss that are new and strong and build your two teams around them by pulling for characters that work well with them
