Faction buff for durin is more res shred which is not that impactful here since you are already getting 40% from chevy and bennett does no of field pyro and his attack buff is redundant after iansan. best team here is iansan,durin,chevy
Durin's faction buff is nice, but not essential to function, especially since with Chev, the team already has a ton of shred.
Or if Chev isn't C6, and you have C6 Iansan AND Fischl, maybe dropping Chev to run both is competitive, since Durin already gives 35% shred.

You go from 35% Res shred to 20%, it's not a big deal, especially with Chevy already providing good amount of shred.

I think the best now is actually a mix between the two :
Varesa Durin Chevreuse Iansan.
(But you need all 4* at C6)
Iansan gives more buff to Varesa than Fischl even with Hexerei buff afaik.
If it was Raiden or Clorinde it would have been different ofc.
I may be wrong tho.

Is durin better than Bennet or xiangling without hexerei buff? I was keeping fischl only because he needs another hexenrei character in team to activate it.

Don't forget Iansan can equip the broken scroll artifact.
And Durin shreds electro and pyro even without hex resonance (20% vs 35%).

Well Bennett is a great Atk buffer and healer (but circle impact restriction), but gives almost no pyro application to trigger reliably Overload, while Durin shreds (20% adds to the 40% Chevreuse shred) and is a pretty good off-field pyro applicator (and damage dealer).
Xiangling well she does good damage and but doesn't buff anything and is an ER black hole. Durin is better for me especially if you don't have her at C4+.

Makes sense I guess since I have both durin and xiangling already built when I have the other characters ready I'll do spiral abyss and check . My xiangling is c3 but since lantern rite is coming I will get her to c4 .

Yeah at the end it's the smartest thing to do, just test yourself what is comfier to use and gives you the most damage overall. :)
