Its been like an year and today is the day i finally noticed my pyro Traveller literally hasnt been voiced in combat this whole time. When will he be ever voiced again?

I can understand anecdotes being silenced and shit, even if they need to fix those voices. But i think out of all voiced events to fix, imo the combat lines shouldve been the most priority sicne ur actually using him.

I feel like they either forgot, don't care or they're adding them same patch as the buffs.

Yeah I use Pyro Lumine from time to time since I sometimes like using F2P characters to tackle Abyss and what not, and I noticed it too when Bursting. The Burst sound is satisfying, but it would be 100x more epic to hear BY EVERLASTING FLAME while unleashing it

Should have been voiced ages ago. 100% not Hoyo's fault TBH. Hoyo's teams are busy focusing on current and future content. I'm sure they'll get to it eventually, but I totally understand why it's not a priority. It's only the English dub, and I'm sure they are tired of giving one of the three languages their own special treatment because they decided to throw a tantrum.

Blackout03_2026-01-04 12:16

and former archon quests also take priority over combat voicelines after the upcoming content

Ketzeph2026-01-04 16:28

Is it not Hoyo’s fault? They don’t want to pay to add the lines in. It’s a massive company - recording the lines is not some Sisyphean task. They just hope people forget and won’t pay.

bumblebyOfficial2026-01-05 18:50

You forgot that Hoyo is just a small indie company without the manpower or money to voice the main character of their primary gambling videogame, hence the downvotes.

AuthorChaseDanger2026-01-04 21:51

Maybe not mostly, but 100%? Traveler has been in the studio since then, how much extra effort is it to record battle lines?

zDecoy2026-01-04 08:47

Yea as soon as they voice paralogism albedo

Electronic-Price-5302026-01-04 08:50

Archon quests take priority over combat lines. There was also a strike and union bs during Natlan that literally prevented most of the EN VAs from being allowed to work on Genshin since it's not a union game.

ThatRandomCanadianV2026-01-04 15:09

It’s wasn’t a strike, but a work refusal

The actual strike was for 3 other companies not related to Hoyo/MiHoyo. But some Sag people decided this would be a chance to get a Chinese company (who actually can’t sign and had ai protections anyways bc of Chinese laws) to join Sag

And even when Sag VA’s wanted to return (Venti), they were threatened by higher ups to not return

Corvozz2026-01-04 08:53

Another great achievement from NA VA's union, gosh wasn't the wildcat strike so worth it, right? /jk

CARCXIS2026-01-04 09:42

He'll be voiced after you change the voice language

Otherwise, wait

DUELfighter20002026-01-04 09:53

I've been waiting for Raiden to be voiced on her thoughts about Mavuika. I already have imagined her saying it but I really want her to say it

Blackout03_2026-01-04 12:19

Yeah it is funny since she was voiced in 5.4 as well, my guess is they forgot about it when recording 5.4 but don't want to bring her in for only 1 line, so have been waiting for her to get new content.

GuideBusy31022026-01-04 10:17

Man the whole strike thing just was so unnecessary and ruined the fun for a long time . I used JP for a long time because even when I thought the strike was over and everything will be voiced a lot of stuff remained unvoiced. Especially the anecdotes. So I still use JP instead of EN everywhere except for the AQs.

kasumi222026-01-04 11:02

wasn't the strike just a total power grab?

Yui_Kurata2026-01-04 13:15

Yes and no, mostly a power grab but some VAs said they were being threatened behind closed doors to not work when they totally could because it went against the protest. In short a tantrum with some innocent VAs caught in-between.

qizeaqfile2026-01-04 10:34

It will be voiced after the main Archon Quest is over. When the recording studio is no longer busy. Probably after the next patch at Luna V.

parrotandpeacock2026-01-04 10:35

Probably when zach wants to work ig

OwnRecommendation4932026-01-04 11:01

Also they voiced Ei voiceline about Mizuki in 5.4 but she's still muted about Mavuika

Blackout03_2026-01-04 12:20

My guess is the forgot about it when recording 5.4 but don't want to bring her in for only 1 line, so have been waiting for her to get new content.

Investigator-Rich2026-01-04 12:11

They prioritize current patch and future patch first. Once traveler role in main story slowed down most likely they'll come back to patch up the unvoiced part.

Knowing they'll dive down to traveler's past it's gonna be awhile until unvoiced part being patches up

ezransshades2026-01-04 13:06

oh wth, I never noticed either. I hope they'll put the voicelines before we get cryo traveler at least

Vonmoondk2026-01-04 22:13

Windblaaade

Chadzuma2026-01-05 00:18

English dub is held together with popsicle sticks and masking tape

Banan962026-01-07 09:57
