I recently had a Snowtrace match where one person immediately went into chat and said hello. Just a simple, friendly gesture, nothing wrong with that, except for when they went to calling us boring because no-one else responded back. Because this person was also the hunter of the match, and because no-one responded back to their chat message, this person straight up refused to play the game, with them not leaving the game and not chasing/catching anyone for the remainder of the match time.

Look, I get it, you’re a sociable fella and wanna make small talk with some fellow Genshin players, that’s fine. But you also have to understand that this game also has a large group of people that do not enjoy being forced into co-op, let alone having to actually talk to other people.

**If you legitimately come into a co-op match, start chatting, and you genuinely get annoyed by people not responding to you, that and taking it one step further by also intentionally holding up the game and ruining the experience for others, then yes, YTA, unfortunately.**

I’m not saying this person should stop trying to be sociable, because that’s a good thing, and even better if this person comes into a co-op match and actually does find other people willing to talk and chat with them. What I’m saying is, when you DO join a match where no-one else wants to speak, maybe respect their decision of staying silent instead of intentionally being a dickwad and holding up the game.
