Varesa Teams with older chars

I did not play for an entire year, but I'm back and I just pulled Varesa C2 + her signature weapon (because she looks fun to play). Are there any team combos with old characters that I can use for her? All the recommended teams are with 4-star characters that I've never heard of (yet). I have them but storywise im not familar with them, also I don't really want to build them.

It doesn't have to be the best possible team, I just want something that's not totally useless, mainly for overworld exploration and Abyss.

I have:

Fischl C6 (Electro DMG build)

Nahida C6 (min-maxed)

Furina C2

Sayu C6 (main healer, 3k ATK)

Zhongli.

I like the idea of Nahida E into Varesa E + plunging, but I'm not sure if that works well with Dendro?

I know 95% of people use Chevreuse for Overload, but I don't really want to build her

Overload can't be the only way. Would Varesa + Nahida + Fischl + Sayu work? Is double Electro required? If not, I could swap Fischl for Furina.

Double Electro is definitely required for energy reasons, but aside from that you can be flexible. Varesa isn't necessarily locked into a specific reaction like many newer characters, it's just that the best teams are Overload.

Varesa doesn't have the greatest synergy with Dendro, but I mean, it's C2R1 Varesa and C6 Nahida so you should be ok. Furina also works fine to buff Varesa, so whatever 4th slot healer would work with her.

doesn't her C2 fix the energy issues? or is it still not enough to avoid double electro

C2 gives a ton of energy, but also doubles the amount of energy she needs to mini-burst on every plunge instead of every other one, so it's basically neutral. I guess if you're ignoring the C2 and not bursting more, you could go with no ER on solo Electro. But then C2 is basically no DPS increase, and you're not really using Varesa even remotely 'well'. But if you just wanna play casually, just do whatever, I'm sure you'll figure out with gameplay how much more ER you need.

Overload is still a pretty weak reaction. People run Chev because she has free res shred and damage boost.

Did you get a copy of Iansan? The scroll of the Cinder City set from Natlan is busted and people run it on non Natlan characters even though it’s only 30% as effective on them.

Ya your team is probably fine Id farm a Natlan first artifact
Domain for a while to get a Cindy city to put on idk ZhongLi or something.
