I played Genshin Impact consistently up through Fontaine, then took about a two-year break. With the upcoming release of Columbina, I came back and have been playing regularly for the past month, really enjoying the Archon Quests and exploration.

However, I’ve run into a recurring issue: in many regions, fully exploring and finding all chests requires completing specific world quests that unlock otherwise inaccessible areas. Most of these quests involve long stretches of unvoiced dialogue with very little gameplay, which ends up with me just mashing the F key to get through the conversations.

The idea of having to sit through hundreds of hours of unvoiced dialogue just to 100% regions is genuinely discouraging, to the point where it sometimes makes me not want to log in at all.

To be clear, I don’t think the writing is bad. Some quests are genuinely great, and HoYoverse deserves credit for the overall quality of their storytelling. But realistically, I can’t be invested in every NPC’s personal issues—especially when they’re not voiced.

I think a simple solution would be to make unvoiced quest dialogue skippable. That alone would make exploration feel far less tedious.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

**TL;DR:** Love the game and the story overall, but long unvoiced world quests are killing my motivation to 100% regions. A skip button for unvoiced dialogue would be a game-changer.
