maybe after the main story is complete and we fully reuinte with our sibling, we will continue travels with our sibling and it will be either npc or co-op story quests! it would be really interesting to have our twin with us in the future story quests, helping us with puzzles and stuff. :3

I really wonder what they would do after the Teyvat chapter concludes.

Would it be a continuation in the same game following the story of the siblings as they travel to different worlds?Or would there be a Genshin Impact 2 with completely new protagonists?Or would the siblings make Teyvat their new home?

They have said they intend to keep the Genshin IP running for 20-25 years so it would be interesting to see.

We probably have no more than 3 years remaining.

Genshin will go until it stops making money. And considering HI3 is still going. Genshin will be going for a long time.

Whatever happens, I really dont think they'd just drop the game. It's their main source of business and replacing something like genshin is almost impossible if not impossible.

A new world would mean new characters etc. But what would that mean for the already existing characters? When would they rerun etc. I've heard honkai impact 3 did the new world and new characters but it would be interesting to see how genshin does it.

Revamp the map with a world-level event like WoW expansions have done. Let players travel back to the old map via the Tree of Dreams in Vanarana to complete exploration/sidequest stuff.
