The amount of people being caught off-guard by Durin's timed quest is shocking (or not)
If people took the 5 seconds to look over the information given, they'd see it literally telling you you'll need 5 calendar days to complete the quest. There are way too many posts being shocked about there being multiple days needed to do the quest.
There's still time to start and get the skin for Durin and the quest takes about 5 - 10 minutes a day.

However, I am aware of these and will plan accordingly. I accept it for what it is, but it doesn't mean I like it.
And even with all those safeguardings, people would still miss it.
just not have them limited to irl days
Also, expecting ppl to now know that THIS specific quest uses irl days instead of being able to skip like the player *always* does for other quests with day skips is just skill issue at game design.
Everytime I see "wait until the next day" on a quest I pray that pressing the quest text will open the clock.
The downvotes feels like a badge showing how screwed the education system is.

Finished the quest long time ago and didn't know how much time people had. Glad it's more than 8 days.
But thinking about pros and cons.
Pro: (time gate)
- content won’t be used up too quickly, since rushing is impossible
- more time to think about the quest parts
Con:
- people need to play occasionally to get the little extra reward
- life DOES HAPPEN (!) and when you only have a short period of time for gaming, you may miss the extra
I know that the extra reward is only 60 primos, but it’s still kind of bad for those who are free to play and maybe don’t have the right time to play in the last month.
Maybe y’all should also try to get your empathy on a higher level this year. It’s weird to read „how they are too stupid to read“ … or „their FAULT for not playing“. It’s clearly just a goal by hoyo to force a daily log in. Nothing else.
Pay no mind to them.
It looks better than his default skin imo, but if you're curious, you can check what it looks like from the story quest section of the events menu
