Like she did nothing for potentially 500 years, so did anyone ever explain to her that the house of the hearth takes orphans and uses them as child soldiers?.

Or more specifically, dose Columbina ACTUALLY understand the horrors that take place in the house, but from her perspective it made sense.

The house saved your live, there for you must repay be being a soldier, no questions asked just like her relationship with the tsaritsa (Transactional)

Obviously she was part of the fatui when the house functioned even before arlecchino took over.

So she likely met “mother” or past leaders of the house.

My main point is it could be a moment in the future where columbina learns that arlecchino is a bad person, better than past leaders yes.

But arlecchino still actively trains and uses children as spy’s sent on missions with high death rates.

Same with sandrone, I believe in a Fontaine quest she cuts a man’s tongue of and staples a letter to the wound.

And this is why we’ve only seen the 2 in a positive light in nod’krai. It’s how columbina sees them, not fully understanding the suffering her friends have inflicted upon others.

As she’s only seen them in fatui HQ and in nod Kai where they have tea party’s and play games.

Columbina knows them as people, but not as harbingers.
