Completed fearless as f2p first time (Started playing in NodKrai), need advice

After the first time clearing fearless as a new f2p player, do you have any advice for me for dire clears? should i build new meta teams? or focus my investment on the teams i already have? My enjoyment comes from clearing end-game content so please dont say "get whatever character you like" 😭 Thank you in advance ❤️

Play the main game. Do exploration and story quests/hang-outs. Enjoy the stories and the character building.

The fact you beat Fearless is already very impressive. If you aim for Dire this quickly, you will only burn yourself out. Stygian Onslaught shills very specific character each time - mostly the new units. To keep up with this, you would have to constantly pull for the new units.

Dire is there for long term min-maxxers and whales who do not get a challenge out of IT/Abyss/etc.

ofcourse i do the main game also, i enjoy exploration only in some areas i 100% NK and almost fontaine and finished the AQs but i come from fighting games so by far what i enjoy the most is the combat, and i have seen some dire clears with 4stars only for certain bosses, and also some with c0's so im thinking it's possible just asking to see if anyone has specific advice or doing a similar thing

You can do dire with those characters, but you will have to build them properly.

Replace Tighnari with someone else. I would do Mona for faster shield break on fire phase.

Owl boss can be cheesed with Jean + Amber.

Third boss is also doable with that party but you will need to learn the jump tech that lets Flins benefit from the 600% ATK bonus without plunging.

For future, since majority of your account is Nod-Krai units, I would get Columbina, and even put constellations and sig on her if I could. Ineffa signature is also very valuable.

i didnt lose to jean yet so no jean for now that's why i was using geo mc in my fearless clear but i think it works for dire too not sure :( the other bosses were the problem i tried them with the same teams i used in fearless but the gap in dmg seems really high to even try to finish it. mainly because i dont have any 5\* weapon other than r0 jade cutter on flins so im giving up on dire for now im looking forward for the next one though!

That's a pretty big accomplishment for someone that started so recently. Congrats! Maybe try building all the other characters so that you can start challenging the harder difficulties in Imaginarium Theater? You'll require a wider roster that's built. It'll also help you get acquainted with how every 4 star works if you didn't know already. Despite it being disliked by many people it seems, IT is my favorite end-game content. It requires you to plan ahead and think on your toes.

Thank you! i love IT too, it's just the entry barrier of needing so many characters is what's stopping me from because of the limited resources i have, and it being also 3 elements only makes it even harder. but other than that anytime i can enter IT i always keep doing it till i get all stars

that’s actually possible. i have a somewhat new f2p acc too and it has similar if not more limited characters. New players nowadays just have a tone of main story, world quest and exploration to do so primos are in abundance for a long time

never put a dollar in the game and never will, new players just get a lot of pulls from all the archon quests which i finished all, and also the character stories which i did 2 a day till i finished them so yes it's completly f2p

Focus more on making your teams stronger if you want a chance in dire, getting new meta teams all c0 wont help u do dire

Nah bruh, dire is on another lvl of try hardness, you can take your time for now.

However, you can always watch dire clears on youtube, I saw a 2 cost one for this reset iirc.

Have you pulled sigs? If you have Nefer's sig (I assume you did given you cleared with Tighnari), you clear Dire with Sucrose on a flex slot. (I did extensive research on this team and I guarantee it's within reach). If you don't have sigs, it's still possible if you have at least 2,700% roll value on Nefer's artifacts.

GMC Amber clear Bat in Dire too.

I am not a Flins player, and we move Sucrose to Nefer, you could try Flins Ineffa Aino Jahoda, and if any of those 5-stars have sigs it's probably possible. Alternatively, you could try replacing Ineffa with Fischl, but again, I am not a Flins main, so don't quote me on this.

Next time you ask for advice, provide the info on weapons as well.

As for future pulls, you already mentioned pulling for Bina, and it's a solid meta call. Pulling for Zibai as your 3rd NK DPS might be not optimal, and I would look into a non-NK dps next in your shoes. You have Durin, go for Varka atp.

I think your account is in an amazing spot meta-wise. Artifact wise you are farming efficiently as well. NSU/SMS and AMM/Winds artifact domains are your feasting places. Aim for top 5% builds at least, landing in the top 1-3% rankings will let you clear Dire consistently.

Get yourself full EM VV set for Sucrose if you haven't already, your Instructor will catch up to the veteran players quickly through farming the AMM/Winds set (it drops Instructor).

I am a combat enjoyer myself, and I totally relate to your aspirations. I'd say aim for Dire clears. You might not succeed this season, and it's totally fine. Just keep challenging it, and at some point you'll reach the breakpoint by improving your characters (sigs or cons), their builds and overall execution.

Last but not least, pull for Fav weapons whenever the banners feature the sigs that could benefit your teams and you have spare pulls (don't be aggressive, getting strong characters is often more valuable than pulling sigs).

Getting C6 Fischl is nasty this early as an F2P player.
