Tighnari, probably. All those can be useful in the beginning, but anything is useful back there. Tighnari is one of the strongest characters non-limited characters, of course that he is weak in comparison with the limited ones, but when comes to standards, he's the best dps. But if ur planning to pull for cloud retainer, diluc is a good option, if u dont like bow gameplay, Tighnari isn't a good chose. But if u want a support, go with jean, especially if u want furina.
Keqing is really fun to me, but is kinda weak, but can help u with exploration.
Mona is cool and good for subdps, but not a big deal nowadays.
The rest is the rest, and never go for qiqi.

I’m not great at bow gameplay either, which is funny considering Yelan and Yoimiya are mainstays of mine, but sometimes you’ll just get good synergy, and those two are a good example. (Pop Yelan’s ult and then Yoimiya’s elemental skill and her normal attacks become a Vaporize machine gun, and you don’t even have to aim those.) So you may find a bow user later that works for you. But don’t stress about it otherwise, since there are plenty of effective options for different playstyles. Go with whatever’s comfortable.

Personally I say Keqing. I’m not a fan of charged-shot reliant bow characters. Jean is good but you’re gonna lose SO MANY 50/50s to her down the road. Keqing is actually a good driver on lunar-charged teams. Give her Ineffa and some hydro and go to town. Her skill is good mobility for exploration, too.

Jean. Heals, sub-dps, cleanse. And when you're starting out, she's great for overworld dps. Grab Xingqiu in as the Lantern Rite freebie next patch, and Xiangling from clearing the first few abyss levels and you'll be set :)

I picked Keqing, and early game wise, she’s a very good DPS (she will fall off later unless you really invest). She’s also great for exploration due to her Elemental Skill letting her teleport, which is good for getting a head start in climbing or gliding.
I’m not saying that Keqing is THE BEST, because I don’t have experience with the other ones, but Keqing is a very solid pick that you will most likely not regret.

I just get Jean always just started a new account, yeeting enemies when you hold down her skill is always fun. With her and Kaeya they always carry me to AR 50 and I play them together with Barbara her sister.
Jean is basically🗿this to enemies shes tanky and heals an awful lot.

Absolutely Jean. She is great as a first character because she can heal, support, lower defense, do great damage herself, cleanse debuffs, and... bestbif all, toss around enemies in overworld, which is great fun.
You have access to all of her materials in the starter area Mondstadt.
Also, she can vacuum lost drops out of the water.
