You know common folks dont know about the fake sky , they could have referred to the clouds , she probably split the clouds from the force of her slash , but thats far from reaching the fake sky
Its a common troupe in anime , where in a rainy day the character uses his / her power strong enough to disperse the clouds , common word used “the sky was split in half”
But is not the same thing for this two cases

thats been debunked, its more like the clouds/air space she cut through. it would make zero sense for her be able to 'open' the fake sky since that power only belongs to beings that are shade, descender or sinner level; which ei is clearly not.

thats just a abyssal space effect, the same one other characters like mona and arlecchino have in their animations.
Ei does not have the power to open/cut the fake sky in any way otherwise she would be on the level of the shades, sinners or moon goddess which shes definitely not.
