Am I cursed to only get sub-DPS characters?

I’m honestly starting to lose it. I’ve been playing since the beginning of this summer and I’ve pulled quite a few good characters, but every single one of them ends up being either a support or a sub-DPS. For the life of me, I just can’t get a solid main DPS.

I have characters like Durin, Citlali, Yelan, Fischl, Kuki, Mona, Bennett, and the list goes on… The “best” main DPS I own is Gaming, but I’m not even sure if it’s worth leveling him since I’m trying to pull Varesa. It honestly feels like this game is actively working against me when it comes to getting main DPS characters.

What would you guys do?

You probably did think of that, but maybe you haven't properly internalized why you are unable to stop yourself from clicking the wish button when an on-field DPS banner is not on the wishing screen.

Why don't you just use your garente on a dps?

Also you have durin who can be a DPS. Either off field with mona on field or on field with C6 bennet ( needs C6)

Very simple and easy solution (100% guarantee it will work, no clickbait): Save up a few pulls over a period of time -> wait until there is a main dps available fitting your roster of supports/sub-dps -> spend your pulls on that character -> play Main dps.

Well… that was my thought with Varesa… but after 121 pulls I’m starting to loose it a bit lol

That's why you should save up to 160\~ pulls before starting to pull on a banner so that you can guarantee the 5 star.

u have characters that actually can replace as main DPS, but it would be great if u pull some strong main DPS characters

I actually dont mind it to be like that, I just play quickswap and wait until a Main Dps comes along. But first and always do i like the character that's first priority.

On a different account I just get supports or whoever, its kind of like yeah sure whoever on field is on field but in reality Xiangling is the main dps coz OPPA NADO GGS

why don't you pick a dps and then build around them instead of pulling sub dps units trying to fit with them.

Have you tried not pulling for sub-dps characters and putting those primos into a main-dps instead ?
