Hey guys!

Not gonna ask for a bunch of tips unless you guys just feel like it, but I’m sure you all probably hear and see posts like this enough to drive you crazy haha.

Just asking for anyone who may want to message me and help teach me as a beginner on what’s important and not.

Better way to put it, if there’s anyone who wants to play or teach me as a complete beginner, I’d love to connect.

I know it’s a tough ask for experienced players who already have to grind themselves.

Focus on one main damage dealer early.

Level characters, then weapons, then talents.

Don’t worry about meta; use favorites.

Save fragile resin; spend regular wisely.

Explore thoroughly, unlock waypoints and chests.

Learn elemental reactions for big damage.

Log in daily; claim events and achievements.

Roll on the standard banner.
But dont roll on the event banner, unless:
a) you really like the character.
b) you know the character works for your team (but for this you need to understand at least game basics and team compositions)

The game is pretty much a single player open world action RPG, so play and learn it at your own pace and have fun.
Collect everything and save as much of any resource as you possibly can.

It is also a gacha game, so unless you plan on spending a lot of money, have a lot of patience and self control, go into the game with the idea that you just won't ever get every character / weapon / skin you want, otherwise you may have a bad time. Be very selective, be realist, and make use of what you get as you enjoy most. Fortunately, you'll only need to start seriously thinking about your account strength for optional end game content, and very ocasional temporary events that shouldn't even be on a new player's radar anyway.

Pull whoever you like to. If you want a top teir dps now, you could try and get varessa, or just wait and use the characters you have now.

ONLY spend gems for the Limited banner. Use only the blue stones on the standard banner. Pull for characters you like. To start with, I suggest pulling for a good on-field DPS character. Varesa on the current banner and Neuvillette next week are good choices.

focus on building characters 😞 when I started playing, I genuinely believed it was just a story/exploration game so I didn't start building my characters until ar 40.... pretty embarrassing, but now i'm stuck at ar 50 cause I have to build all my characters since they're not strong enough. It's a little tricky to understand at first tho so definitely look up guides on beginner building
