Serious question about Columbina.

TL;dr should I pull Columbina if I want a Support for “DPS” Alice if I don’t have Ineffa?

Extended explanation:

I don’t have Ineffa, I didn’t like the character so I didn’t pull. I’m planning I should pull for Columbina since I realized she’s a Support character basically. Then I found this image on Twitter, and now I’m thinking: Should I go for columbina or no? Because no matter what, I’m still not pulling for Ineffa. So you may be asking: “why are you pulling Columbina, a Lunar Support, if you don’t have Ineffa nor any other Lunar DPS?”, well, because I’m trying to get Alice, and I have this idea of because Alice might be a Lunar character, she might get benefited from having a Columbina.

So that’s the question, do we have any clue about Alice, if Alice it’s effectively going to be a DPS, or just another Support, and if she ends up being a DPS, would Columbina effectively be useful for her, or will Columbina be worthless if I don’t have Ineffa?

Please, do not waste our time saying stuff like: “who care, pull her if you like it”, because that will not answer the question. I’m genuinely curious about this so I can see if I pull Columbina/Alice, or just Alice because Alice is the Lunar character I really like, and want her regardless, but Columbina for me it’s like Ok so I don’t care if I really have her or not outside of her being useful to Alice?

No. Columbina works with Lunar characters, and Alice is not going to be a Lunar character.

Yes pull Bina she will wheelchair alot of units. Everyone has Aino for free, so you can make some type of team.

The problem is that I don’t like character like Aino, have them all lvl 1/20 except for the Archon, because well, she’s an Archon. Other than that, I really wanted Columbina to see if she could help Alice, and it looks like she won’t. Probably I won’t be pulling. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

She works with Zibai so there's that and she's very pretty imo she's also insane with Lauma whose also you know its Lauma enough said.

Zibai it’s a character that I discovered like yesterday lol and I’m really into her, I need to investigate more and see what I’m finally doing with these lunar characters. Because so far, I was skipping them all

Yeah shes really good and less dependent than Nefer or Flins.

Her 4 star only team got calced over 100k then you add on Columbina and its around Mavuika level plus she has style in her trailer she rolled up in a floating carriage i was like da heck who is she?!!!!

Okay I just finished watching some Zibai videos and done some reading and man, so far I’m sold… I MIGHT be pulling Columbina but now because of Zibai. Thanks for bringing this light to me mate

they dont want to pull ineffa, bina has no wheelchair potential without ineffa, she provides no buffs that non lunar characters can use, her personal dmg is also ass without lauma, pulling just her is a waste if you dont particularly like her

if you really care about alice that much then investing in hexeri characters is a much safer bet

like durin, nicole, varka, etc... (the latter 2 are coming pretty soon)

Now I have new information to look into. Thank you very much. I’m ultra out of touch with Genshin, because I haven’t been paying attention to several things but this comment of you might be helpful in the future. I’ll see all these characters then.

I might add I recently did these Hexarei quests that buff my Venti/Mona/Razor/Fischl/Sucrose. That means, if I understand correctly, that characters under that label should be my priority, right? Even if it’s these old characters, if I really want to make a decent team for Alice?

yes, even the old characters are very strong especially sucrose, mona and fischl if you dont get alices best 5 star teammates these will be pretty good alternatives

genshin is moving in a direction where they are creating "factions" where 2 characters from the same faction will activate all the buffs, like lunar resonance and hexeri resonance (and soon a liyue resonance most probably)

so pulling characters related to the hexinzerkel is the safest bet cause alice obv is from it.

Will do, because genuinely I like Alice design, and was planning all my pulls for her next. Looks like I’ll be out of the Lunar phase of Genshin without a Lunar character (excluding Aino). I might look into Zibai/Nicole, and if I get to like them, I might then pull Columbina just for them. Otherwise, I might be entirely skipping and getting ready for Alice.

That off topic question was about to be another additional post on here but because you seem to know this more I’d like to ask you: is Bennet C6 still something we have to avoid? I remember back in the beginning (been playing basically day 1), Bennet C6 was basically prohibited. It is still like that or has that changed? I’m curious so I can see what can I do with mine. Sorry if I’m being out of place asking this but wanted to get the opportunity to be finally clear with all the stuff regarding Genshin that are bugging me.

lol this age old question, like 5 years ago yes it was bad, now its necessary to activate it, the devs patched it and made it so that every character post 2.0 wont get their infusions overridden by bennetts c6

now you can do some pretty cool stuff with it, like razor + bennetts c6 makes him a dual elemental dps (electro and pyro) a very strong one thats as strong as the fontaine dpses, if you get xianyun you can make anyone a melt plunge dps, pretty fun con to experiment with.

also its a really good con for pyro on fielders like mavuika, arle and durin so activate it.

alice will mostly run with her BiS support as a rerun or within 1 to 2 versions of each other. this has been the pace for every new meta character. there is *no* need to speculate now on who may or may not work with alice and build a team now.

there is also no rush, there are at least 6 patches until she releases, and probably more. you will be able to build a full nod krai meta team and still be able to save for snezhnaya

We know absolutely nothing about Alice, other than the fact that she isn't on the graphic with characters that will be added in near future.

You can speculate that she isn't going to be Lunar character.

Nobody knows remotely enough about Alice to answer your question, you may as well flip a coin. She also isn't in the silhouettes. Both the same as Ronova.
